Description The ultimate in carry bags. Its name comes from the "hoof" shaped design of the bag bottom -- which gives this bag characteristics unlike any other. It's slightly larger and more sturdy (yet lighter) than it's wildly popular predecessor the L8 Stand bag.
Review Abstract Players who have used many different bags say this is “the most durable carry bag on the market.” If you walk a lot, the perfectly balanced dual-strap on this light stand-bag will help make your rounds comfortable and fun. The Hoofer is "The Cadillac of carry bags," its "solid stand is the best around.” Although somewhat pricey, this is a “great” bag… No wonder it's by far the most popular on the market."
Summary: Ping Hoofer is undoubtedly the best carry bag ever made. It is lightweight and the four openings for the clubs is very efficient. The clubs go in and come out with little problem or wear on the grips. The strap system is second to none. It can be used as a single or double strap with no problems, ever! There are plenty of pockets for whatever you need. THIS IS SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!!!!

Summary: This bag has the best strap system of all the stand bags I have tried, however, the clubs continually get stuck when pulling and replacing. I simply could not take it anymore and just replaced it with a Hoofer Extreme. The club problem is better with the Extreme but still occurs on occasion.

Summary: The bag is well made, however, it is poorly designed. It has three major design flaws. First, the "hoof" bottom of the bag causes the grips to be confined to a smaller area at the bottom of the bag. The clubs are then hard to get into and out of the bag. Second, the "hoof" design does not push out the stand well. You have to push down on the bag to have the stand fully extend. Third, it has not dividers making the clubs even harder to take out and put in (I believe the Hoofer 2 has dividers). I would not buy this bag. Their are many better bags on teh market. I just replaced my Hoofer with a well designed and good functioning Cleveland stand bag.

Model Reviewed: Ping Hoofer 2 Bag
Summary: The Ping Hoofer 2 is an excellent carry bag. The strap system is second to none. I tried on many bags and they were mostly complicated. Ping employs a very simple double strap system. The second strap falls right into place after the first strap is over your shoulder.
Good storage space and very comfortable to wear and walk with. Sometimes it's hard to get some clubs in and out.
