Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Multi Purpose Bag Summary: Too bad this bag received such negative reviews elsewhere in this thread (suspicioiusly similar - written by the same person, perhaps - a salesman for a competitor maybe?)
I love this bag! It's relatively light, sturdy, looks great, has comfortable and easy to use carrying straps, plenty of well-positioned pockets, dividers that allow easy club removal, handy outside putter tube, and stand legs that spring forward or retract quickly and easily with zipper covers for cart use. As for the guy who said "don't waste your money" and the other (same?) guy who said "don't buy it" - they're dead wrong! Customer Service: Haven't had occasion to try it. Similar Products Used: This bag replaces my Bag Bay EZ Carry, which I liked but not as much as the Sun Mountain Multi Purpose.

Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Sun Mountain Mulit-Purpose Bag Summary: Good design ideas on paper, awful execution in practice. Putter slot is nice but gets in the way of front pockets (which are useless) and securing on cart. Side pockets too small and zips will be obstructed by and can catch and rip your umbrella ! Carry handle is in wrong place and makes it awkward for loading and unloading from/to vehicles. Legs and base provide poor balance. Cooler pocket good idea but drinks not easily accessible when walking. Straps not the best, and 14 dividers make it too heavy with edge slots too small. Rain hood is a complicated disaster to attach with only 2 buttons and its very insecure. Tries to be jack of all trades but its a total design disaster. Dont waste your money.. Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Sun Mountain Mulit-Purpose Bag Summary: Great on paper but really awful and flawed execution. 14 dividers make it too heavy as a carry bad and the small aperture of the edge ones are difficult to use. The side pockets are too small and zip position is obstructed by umbrella when in place. I managed to rip my unmbrella with the zip of one of the pockets. The front pockets are especially bad with intrusion from the putter slot . The handle is in the wrong place and makes bag unbalanced making it difficult to place on cart or put into car. The legs are really flimpsy and the base is not sturdy. Worse of all is the rain hood. Takes foreever to put on and isn't secure. It only has 2 buttons. Cooler pocket is nice idea but not very accessible for drinks when carrying. Neither a great stand/carry bag or a good cart bag. The so-so straps, carry handle and putter slot at the top of the bag is so complicate it make fastening it to a cart or trolley very difficult. Dont buy ! Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: 2006 Sun Mountain MPB Summary: Nice attractive bag. I bought this bag because I like the features and the 14 individual club dividers. I hate grips jamming on each other and ripping shaft lables. Now, those are things of the past. Even with the net weight of the bag at 7 pounds and a full set of clubs, carrying the bag is still easy and comfortable. Nice features like the hide away legs and lift assist handles on the side. My only complaint is the external putter well tube runs behind the two pockets that are ideal for balls and tees. The tube takes up some of the room and makes getting ball/tees a little difficult but not a big deal. Since there are 14 individual dividers, maybe the external putter well can be made to be removable. Great color combinations and enough pockets to suit most needs. Customer Service: None better. I've owned other Sun Mountain bags and replacement parts have been sent without question and free of charge. That is customer service. Similar Products Used: Sun Mountain Summit stand bag and Nike stand bag.

Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Sun Mountain MPB bag Summary: I've been looking for a bag that serves a dual purpose as cart bag and stand/carry bag and this is it. It sits and stays in the cart, yet is light enough to carry. Plenty of space to store needed things.
Also it has the 14 individual club dividers plus an outside putter well and this works great if it's raining to put the putter in the 14th divider.
The zippered leg is great protection when the bag is in the cart.
Only 1 feature that it needs is a handle on the back of bag, but not a real problem.
All-in-all, a great bag. Customer Service: Have not needed Similar Products Used: mizuno stand bag, nike stand bag, cobra cart bag.
