Hogan Apex Tour

Summary:
Ball for ball this one rates right up there with the best of them. Long and soft with very good spin. At one time it was said that these were the same as Nike One(true or not?).

Ben Hogan APEX Tour ball

Summary:
I have Hogan Tour Deeps in my bag and I think they're really awesome hands down. I wanted to do a practice round in a regulation 9 hole so I thought of using a reload box of 12 of used Apex Tours which was more than half the price of a brand new Tour Deep box. I was surprised by the length, feel and spin of this ball. I teed of on a 280 yard hole and ended up 3 feet from the cup! I thought that I might have teed off a little lower which means that the ball didn't spin much with drivers when hit properly. My wedge shots stopped when they dropped and I think this ball actually spins more than the Tour Deep. It's a pity Hogan stopped making this ball. I still like the Tour Deep all around but who knows I just might tee off with the Apex on my regular Sat games with my golfing buddies :)

Apex tour

Summary:
I have always struggled to impart much spin around the green when chipping but I have finally found a ball the does it for me. I have been using pro v1 for a year or so and i am impressed with there overall performances. But i would have to say the apex tour is longer and spins alot more. They realy grab and back up hard on the short irons and are great around the green. If like me you are looking for a bit more spin gives these a go. they also wear realy well

Apex tour

Summary:
I have been playing for about 3 years now and havent played as much as i would like. saying that i have tried most of the premium balls with these being the best so far. i can from time to time sneak the ball past 300 on my drives and these will only make that easier. i prob average around 280 or so. they have a fairly flat trajectory that i like, they seem to cut the wind fairly well. i can work them with my irons at will, they spin nicely for me. that being said i dont think they are the most spinning top like balls out there but they stick and moonwalk for me. they are alittle firm on the green but i do like the sound of the putter face. i found some logo overruns for 17.oo a dozen and esspecially for that price you cant go wrong.

Apex Tour Red

Summary:
Everything you would want from a golf ball. Good distance, soft feel, very durable, and great spin! Played w/ the Apex Red yesterday for the first time ever and i was extremely pleased. The balls lasted the whole round without a mark. I normally go through 2-3 balls a round because i tear up the covers w/ wedge shots. The Apex was also very good around the greens and reacted great off the tee. I was also able to spin a few full shots back 5-7 feet. Too bad they no longer make this model. The Apex Red is WAAAAAAAAY better than the new Tour Deep.
