B330rx

Summary:
I found a Tour B330rx and used it after hitting a ProV1x out of bound. I was surprised to see my drive go higher and longer, straight too. My iron shot were just unbelievable and I never miss a green on par 3s and on second shots par 4 & 5. Iam going to try this ball again and see if this great surprise happens again. I'll let you know if its the ball or the combination of a swing adjustment I just made.

B330RX

Summary:
Got one of these the other day from the pro shop to give a try. I am very impressed with this ball. It is long and straight off the driver and spins well off the irons. The thing that impressed me the most was hte feel around the green. It has a softer feel than other premium balls which I prefer. It feels awesome off the putter and checks up nicely on chips and pitches. It says it's designed for slower swing speeds but I'm up over 105mph with the driver and I hit this longer than either of the other B330 balls. I also like the new Srixon Z-Star but I think this just shades it as the best ball on the market. They are decent value to for a premium ball. In Aus they are about $15 a box cheaper than the Pro Vs, for a superior product IMO. And the durability makes them even beter value.

Bridgestone B330 RX

Summary:
These golfballs are the best I have ever hit. Soft, solid, long. Big advantage: they keep intact! I have filled out the fitting tool on the Bridgestone website (very nice tool) and ended up with this golfball. It's been designed for amateur players with a certain swingspeed like mine.

Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

B330-RX

Summary:
Like most of you reading this review, I was excited to try this ball ever since I first heard about it. I finally shelled out the $42 for a dozen to give them a try. I love low to mid compression balls and I've tried them ALL. My current ball is the original so\lo, but I wasn't really happy with it, I just found it to be the most consistent and easy to hit off my irons, but I was making sacrifices around the green and off the driver and hoped this ball would be the magic bullet. No such luck. Off the driver it was lower hitting than the so\lo and no longer. On my irons it was a push, sometimes feeling a bit too firm for my taste. Around the greens and putting it was a definite improvement, but not enough to justify the price. HOWEVER, I have found the ball that I had hoped the 330-RX would be - the new Nike One Vapor. It's way less $$, goes further off the tee, has awesome trajectory and that sweet 3-piece feel off my irons and is just as good as the RX around the greens and putting. I know the RX is supposed to be a urethane cover and the Vapor isn't, but I can't tell a difference, they feel the same when playing and even feel the same in the hand. Part of the reason is that the RX cover is not nearly as soft as a Pro V1. Also, my driver swing speed is 93. If your considering the RX, save yourself some $$ and try the Vapor instead. The only slight downside to the Vapor is that it spins quite a bit off all of my irons, great on good shots as it makes them fly high and land soft, but if you slice or hook the ball off your irons, this ball is going to make it worse vs something like the so/lo. This has caused me to miss a few greens that I would have caught with a so/lo, but the improved feel, especially around the greens, is worth it. Off the driver it appears to spin slightly more, but not enough to cause big issues and remember, average swing speed players actually need spin off the driver to a certain degree to maximize distance.

Anything and Everything that would be considered a Low to Mid compression ball.

2009 Cleveland Launcher Driver

Summary:
Went to a Cleveland Demo Day intending to try wedges but was very impressed with the Launcher driver and hybrid. Purchased the driver (along with free hybrid) a week later. I had been playing a 2009 Burner and an Adams XTD A3 square driver, both of which are excellent. Main difference between Burner and Launcher is that I have a bit of a tendency for my usual draw to turn into a hook with the Burner and I get a more penetrating flight and more roll with the Launcher (I probably pick up 8-12 yards over the other drivers). Also, the Launcher is very traditional in appearance.Since the Burner flies higher (all three drivers are 10.5), probably because of the shaft, I will use it on courses requiring forced carries and the Launcher otherwise. Incidentally, the Launcher hybrid is long, and easy to hit high off grass or tee (and I am a senior player with a relatively low swing speed).

Customer Service:
Rep at demo day was very helpful. Cleveland customer service has been helpful to me in the past when I inquired about wedges.

Similar Products Used:
2009 Burner, Adam XTD A3, Callaway FT-3, all excellent drivers. I prefer the Launcher primarily because of the penetrating flight I get but these are three really fine drivers.
