Callaway Big Bertha Red Summary:
The first time contact I had with Big Bertha balls was the Big Bertha Blue. I found that the balls hit better and longer than my old Nike PowerFlight balls. I loved the blues so I decided to try out the reds. They are an incredible ball. I used to hit my Nikes about 220-240 off the tee, the BB Blues added another 10-20 yards and with the reds I'm hitting between 250-280 consistently. Unfortunately, I have noticed the balls don't stick nearly as well as on the greens as either my Nikes or the Blues. I've been playing a lot more bump and run with these balls and I guess it's good because I've been forced to develop that shot. Otherwise, I'd recommend this ball to anyone who wants to impress their friends with longer shots off the tee.

next to the old "top rocks" this is the worst golf ball I have ever hit. It's hard as a rock, has no control and no feel. It does have a little distance, but that's a high price for no iron action. Only use if you find one, no give it to your father-in-law. Customer Service:

Callaway Big Bertha Red Summary:
OK, this ball came along at a time when my swing is coming around, but that being said, I can’t complain about the performance of this ball. Also, Callaway made it easy to try because they offered trial sleeves right next to the regular offering.
Callaway’s Big Bertha Red is pleasant surprise. After 4 rounds, I found that driving with my strong 3 wood produced boring flight patterns and surprising distance: 260 max., 235 low; the approach shots from 120 yards in dropped on target and stayed. The ball turned on command and it feels pretty darn good on the putting surface, too.

Big Bertha Blue Summary:
This ball is good enough for anyone out there, including scratch players. Don't believe the ProV1 hype, the pros are paid to play that ball. You'll hit this ball as far and as accurately as any top dollar ball. This ball checks up on short pitches and stops on a dime with wedges. A great value, especially compared to the $50 tag on the top-line 4 piece balls.
I can't say it enough times- you do not need the spendy golf balls, you will score just as well with this ball.
Pro's of the past were shooting in the 60's with a wound ball and this outperforms any wound ball ever made. Customer Service:
