Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: intech ti Summary: I just want to say alittle something about this ball, A couple years ago my sons bought these balls for me at christmas 3 bags.
they came in a plastic 15 ball container optic yellow, I chose to use them as a practice ball.
A few friends and I went out one saturday to play a friendly game of 18 hole skins and i had forgotten to take these balls out of my bag the night before, (I'm a NXT tour man by choice).
I was immediatly taken by the distance and control these balls had, the ability to work the ball right to left and visversa AND how durible the ball was...it was incredible.
The only flaw i could see with these balls was 100 yards in and around the green, the ball just wouldn't hold the green well, putting was a 10 in my book.
Therefore this next question is for the boys and girls at the intech company, what would happen if you were to keep the guts of this ball the same as is, and put a IONOMER or BLATA cover on this ball?
Well i can honestly tell you that you would have a ball that would sit right up there with all the other name brand balls.
Well intech if you can make this happen i for one would be ordering up BIG TIME.
This is a very good ball for the money and yes this ball maybe alittle hard but its helped with my game even just to practice with so good luck, and fairways and greens. Customer Service: none Similar Products Used: pro v1, pro v1x, topflite es XL2000, NXT tour.

Shoots in the 100s Model Reviewed: Intech BetaTi Summary: Sure, it's hard to take Intech BetaTi seriously when they sell these alongside the non-USGA-conforming Hot ball...but this ball offers a dose of refinement at a great price. I much prefer it to the low-priced offerings from TopFlite and Pinnacle.
On drives, the ball felt soft, yet lively off the clubface. It was easy to get into the air and ballooned just a little. It flew plenty long, and kept straight. There was some bounce but little run after the ball landed.
On approach shots, I found the ball landed softly, hopped once or twice, then came to a prompt halt. The ball exhibited some nice spin and holding power on the greens, something I certainly did not expect from such a low-priced ball. I'd have to say that this is what impressed me most about the BetaTi.
Chips and pitches were fairly straightforward. Feedback through the clubface became more vague and less precise as the shots became shorter, but the ball remained well under control and did not run much on the greens.
Putting performance is the BetaTi's lone weakness. As with chips and pitches, low-speed impacts with the clubface yielded rather vague and inconsistent feedback, and it was difficult to roll the ball at a precise speed. The ball did hold its line fairly well. If you're looking for a ball that's easy to putt, this just isn't it.
The bottom line: RECOMMENDED, with reservations. Casual and beginning golfers should find a lot to like with the BetaTi. It offers solid performance from tee-to-green, but is less than enjoyable to putt. Still, it offers a much more complete package than the similarly-priced "distance rocks" from TopFlite and Pinnacle. At US$7.99 for 18, it's an excellent value. If you like a colored ball, the BetaTi can sometimes be found in bags of 30 in yellow, or mixed pink, yellow, and orange.
I would buy these again if my favorite ball was sold out. Customer Service: I have not contacted Intech's customer service. The King Par/Intech/Affinity/Orlimar/Knight website is not well thought out and provides little useful information about their products. Shoots in the 100s Model Reviewed: Beta TI 2004 Summary: I was look ing for some balls to go play with that were cheap but good and in golf you don't usually find that so i saw these at wal-mart and i bought some i think it was like 18 for $10 or $15 but i always loose balls. i took these out and they had good distance and held up really well. They are very bouncy. I have a bad short game so i have to do good on the long game and these work just fine. i also did not feel bad about loosing them either. They could be more expensive now but i am not shure. Customer Service: didn't need any Similar Products Used: any other balls
