Nike One Tour D

Summary:
Decent ball but it lacks feel. The cover states that it is urethane cover but it is a very hard durometer urethane. So, it lacks spin and feel around the greens. Also, on long shots it still doesn't have the feel that some of the other balls have. It could be very good for a certain golfer. It is a lower spin ball than the tour and supposed to be longer with the compromise of spin around the greens. Cover is too hard and feels almost like a surlyn ball. I got them half price at Costco for 20 bucks a dozen but I would rather pay extra for a better ball for my game. I would not put it in a premium ball category. However, the Nike One Tour could be a much better ball. Have yet to try it.

Nike Tour One

Summary:
I have been searching for a golf ball that fits my game perfectly, and the jury is still out for me after using this golf ball. I am undecided not because the ball was not great (it was), I just still need to try a few other balls to see where they stack up. I have yet to play a round with the ProV1 and ProV1x.

This ball was definitely shorter off the tee for me than the NXT Tour. I typically drive the ball 285-300 depending on wind, fairway, etc. and I was not getting more than 260-270 with this golf ball. This only affected me on the one long par 5 as I had no shot to reach the green in two, whereas I normally can at least give it a go (doesn't mean I get it there).

Distance loss aside, this ball performed phenomenally well on iron shots (minus the distance loss; had to play one club longer than normal) as the ball feels great off the club. This ball excels 100 yards and in when I am using my Cleveland 56 and 60 degree wedges. The ball sticks to the green like glue. I normally get zero spin and these balls were backing up a foot or two and sticking to the green. I sometimes would have an issue with other balls of hitting the green and the ball trickling over the back.

When putting this ball feels spectacular and is everything you could ask for in a golf ball.

This ball did not scuff/rip as easily as the NXT Tour.

nike one black

Summary:
about 2 weeks ago my mom bought me a box of these balls, it was either a bridgestone b330 (which i absolutely love) or a box of nike one blacks. Also by the way i'm 15 years old and have been playing golf since i was 3. I gave the blacks a try because i just figured i'd give something new a try. The first hole i played with it, i hit the drive well over 270 yards and had a fairly decent draw on it (which is how i prefer to play). My iron shots were all magnificent, they all went straight as imaginable. The puttins is a little clicky, but still VERY precise. I parred or birdied just about every hole i've played with this ball. And i almost always hit it straight which is nice, because i've probably played about 10 rounds of 18 and lost 2 of my 12 so far. it's a great ball i highly reccomend it for a high spin, long distance player.

Nike One Black

Summary:
The Black is the low spin Nike and comparable to ProV1x or HX Tour. The Platinum is higher spin and is like the high spin models Pro V1 and Tour 56. I came from ProV1x. I spin the ball very aggressively so I am always looking for a ball to take the spin off my shots. Got a box as a gift and went out and shot my low round for 2006 with them. Can be worked with woods or irons (overworked if you try). Tee shots will roll which I did not get with the Titleists. Irons (I hit moon shots) stop within a few feet of touchdown, without spinning back off the green. The Blacks putt a little "clicky" for my taste but I live with that for the ball striking performance.
Pro line Callaway irons with excellent grooves YMMV. I love this ball.
Tried Platinum, too much spin, but a good feeling ball and they putt with excellent feel.

hey it's Nike

Similar Products Used:
ProV1x, Hx Tour, MaxFli Rev (red & black), Bridgestone B330 (my 2nd fav.) and all the two piece balls which I think are too hard and fly a long way, but are poor off the irons and putt like rocks.

Nike One Gold

Summary:
Got these balls at a killer price, 20 a dozen. Unfortunately only bought 2 dozen at the time. SOFT SOFT SOFT, with abuse they will cut, but quite durable in my opinion. Green grabbing power with the irons, VERY soft feel off the driver. Putting feels like the ball sucks onto the face and bounces off, gotta love that! I believe the target audience would be those shooting in the low 90's wanting to kick things up a notch. All around great ball, too bad losing them makes you want to ='(.
