Slazenger Black Label Balls Review

Slazenger Black Label

Description
Creating the highest quality, most consistent golf ball we have ever made required not only an innovative design, but a whole new manufacturing process. Slazenger Black Label golf balls, with their unique interlock layer, are made in small batches, individually cured, buffed and painted before being placed in sleeves. This exacting process ensures that each and every Black Label ball meets the highest standard of performance, quality and consistency. The Black Label truly is as good as it gets.

Summary:
I picked up this ball at Dicks on super clearance for 11 dollars a doz. I can not tell the dif between this ball and callaways hx hot bite. Better than a pinnacle platinum or wilson px3. I can hit a 2 piece a bit further but short game and putting are great with this old ball. I asked why this was buried in the back near the womens clubs? They said this years hot products always get seen first.Urethane three piece for way less makes me happy.

Summary:
Ball plays just lke a proV1 and Slaz.Raw Distance except a little softer and quite high trajectory. Will wait till colder weather to use them: soft as Lady Precept in ambient temp.[70+ F]. Great ball for the price + added bonus of being a different brand when everyones balls lie together.

Summary:
I found the Black Label to be slightly above average in driver distance. Approach shots into the greens all stick, with plenty of them backing up. Lots of spin. The black label's cover is only O.K, you will need a sleeve of 3 for a round of 18. All in all, a good ball, and great value for the price. Just about broke 80 with the black label.

Summary:
Great ball! average distance, wonderful spin! Putts and chips better than longer balls so it makes up for the lost distance (which isnt much to start off)! Great ball for low handicappers!

Summary:
Previous reviewers are spot-on: this ball is a 3.

Pros: it has a urethane cover like the Pro V1, and therefore has fantastic feel. This ball is TRULY soft, and plays like a nice balata.

Cons: given today's balls that are out there, this ball is SHORT. I played quite a few shots back to back against a Maxfli Noodle (a cheap and middle of the road ball) and the Noodle was consistently half a club longer in the irons, and probably 10 to 20 yards longer off the driver.

Maxfli Noodle and A10, ProV1, Precept Tour Premium
