Srixon Z-Star Balls Review

Srixon Z-Star

Description
Srixon Z Star XV Golf Balls The Srixon Z Star XV Golf Balls have a dual-core with 4-piece construction. This golf ball has higher compression and is designed for higher swing speed golfers and will reduce spin off the driver. This ball takes performance to the next level. The Z-Star performance can be broken down into two main features: Larger cores for improved ball speed and softer covers for maximum spin around the greens. The core of the golf ball can easily be thought of as the engine of th

I also found this ball at my local golf course and finished the round with it.I have since made this the only ball I will play. Great with all clubs in the bag.Unbelievable feel.Gave away my brand new ProVs without flinching. Who cares? Feel like I have finally found my golfball mate for life. Thank you GOD.

Summary:
I found this ball on my local golf course. Man off the tee this ball goes farther than my pro-V1. Only thing is on pitch shots tend to get alot more roll. Ball doesn't hit and check up like my pro-V1. Seams to roll pretty good of my putter and feels real soft off the putter face.

Summary:
Tend to stick to the "tried and true", that being Pro V1's and NXT Tour's. I'll venture out there but always return "home". Not this time. The reason I joined the review was this ball. I just really felt I needed to say something about a great, great ball. Better than all on and around the green. Longer off the tee than Pro V's, i(z)(s),and any Nike. Comparable to NXT Tour, distance wise. Did my test on a warm, calm Saturday evening with no one on the course and hit HUNDREDS of shots. Z Star won easily.

Summary:
I would take what all the Titleist fanboys say with a grain of salt. I was completely unbiased in picking a new ball and tried several of the top tour balls, even the new Nike 20XI-S, before choosing this ball.

I have a swing speed of 112 mph and compress the ball very well. I was expecting this super soft golf ball to not go anywhere near where my Pro V1s did. I actually hit it just as far and Did not lose any distance.

The spin on these things is incredible. Certain courses I play on can have small dry fast greens where nothing would stick, not even the "unbeatabl pro v1, but these would hit and stop, immediately. On slower more receptive greens these things can zip back so be careful.

Its one of the best feeling balls out of all I tried off the putter and the greenside control was remarkable. I hit a very steep fast stinger from behind a large green and this ball hit the upslope and took one hop and stopped. Needless to say I was still very far from the hole, but that just blew my mind.

If feel and spin, along with durability, are your biggest concerns, you can not go wrong with the new srixon z stars at all.

Bye bye Titleist, ive found a better ball.

Summary:
I'm going to give these balls one more try when the courses dry out but the z star does not fly near as well as my Pro V's. This ball flies high and short. Switched back to a Titleist after 3 holes.
