Summary:
This is simply the best ball ever made with the Titleist Pro V1x a close second. Since this ball is not being produced anymore, I was hoping that someone could give me some insight on what new ball would be comparable...Thanks!

Summary:
An average ball. Pretty good for an executive course where distance isn't an issue. I don't think this ball is even made anymore but since I've used it, here ya go. Durable ball. Spend more and get a better ball, you'll be happier.

Tour Ultimate 2

Summary:
Feels very hard off woods & irons, but checks up nicely on greens with wedges. Putter feel is harder than most high-spin balls also. Durability is low - lots of scuffs and scrapes from normal play even without hitting trees or cartpaths. Distance is very good - longer than the Tour Straight, and much longer than the Professional Distance.

Strata Tour Ultimate 2

Summary:
I purchased this ball last year and have played it a lot this year (I'm always trying new balls).

This ball has really been fun ball to play. I have a lot of joy and confidence when I tee up this ball. The ball has a great feel to it (although feel is very subjective) and has been pretty durable for me. I even like the way the dimples look...for me, the look of the dimples can throw me off (kind of like how the irons set up).

As for performance, this ball is really responsive. It will bite very well when you put spin on it, but yet very controllable. Again, the ball is very predictable on chips, whereas some balls I've played are unpredictable in their behaviour. Putts are great with this ball...it rolls true and I've never found a reason to blame this ball (if you read some of the reviews on the net, this is supposed to be one of the better putting balls).

For distance, I would say this is above average. But honestly, I don't find a huge discrepancy in distance for any balls...the biggest difference in distance comes from my swing, not my ball.

All in all, I absolutely enjoy this ball. I try a lot of balls, and the more I play this ball, the more I like it. It has definitely become one of my favorite balls. It's one of those balls that you have in your bag that you treasure...you have a dilemna on water holes...should I put it away in case I lose it or should I hit it so that it will give me confidence and stick on the green?

Top-Flite Tour Ulitmate 2

Summary:
I have played with PRO V1's, Precept Tours, etc. This ball for the price ($19.99 for 72 balls) is very compatible. Not quite as long as PRO V1, but spins more and holds up very well. If I keep if off the cart paths and out of the tree I can get get a couple of rounds out of one ball
