HoooWeee! well Titlest good job...again, A friend of mine gave me a sleeve of 3 couple weeks ago and haven't tried them until last week-end.
I just have to say...these balls are not happy unless your swing speed is above 105-110 man, my swing speed is about 103-107 tops with driver.
any swing under 95 mph these balls feel like your hitting a frozen chicken egg.
driver distance is pretty good 270-280 can't complain, workability with the irons is fair (you must keep your swing speed up!) 130 into the green is great, around the green is great, putting is about a 7 out of 10.
this is a beautiful ball Titleist everything we've come to expect from a good company! but...for you week-end golfers or you high handicap individuals don't even think for purchasing these balls until you know and understand your swing.
good luck and...good golf.

My game has improved tremendously over the last 2 years to I decided to see how much a better ball could help. Results are obvious and immediate. Good control from the tee box, but you really feel the difference with your irons and short game. Ball grabs the green and allows you to shoot at the pin. You will not go back to inexpensive balls.

I have used a bunch of balls and this is probably the best. It is true that the better player can benefit more from this ball, but the feel of the ball and grip on the greens are probably the best. I think i get a little more distance from the 2-piece ($15)nike balls, but when it comes to chipping they just roll away, no control what so ever. Buy the X-outs ($22) to save some big money. If I had to pay the $40+, i would never buy this ball.

This is truly a great all around ball! But its not for the weekend warrior!! for those of you 80's and 90's players your wasting your money! You cant possible tell the difference! This is for scratch golfers or Pro's that can shape shots and work the ball. I hate to see you all WASTE your money and put them in the woods and water for nothing. there are much cheaper alterantives.

This new ball from Titleist is for very high swing speed players ONLY! At 105 compression, it is not easy to get the ball going unless you really smoke it. It's a little jumpy off the irons, but has a nice feel. It also holds pretty well for a "low spin" ball, but does not feel as soft as the other ProV1 models. Overall, I don't think I'd buy it again until I can swing like the big boys.

Just tried this ball recently I liked it I thought it was a little softer than the pro v1; however, for the difference in money I still like the strata's.Word of advise if you are not a scratch golfer you do not need this or the pro v1 or the nike tour professional. If you have a slice and use a high spin ball that slice is amplified..

Customer Service

There is no doubht titleist can make a good ball I just wish they could make the ball a little more reasonable.
