Summary: I'm 62 yrs old and I just bought a dozen of these balls. First time out while playing from the "tips" I nailed a bird on a par three followed by an eagle on a par five. I hadn't played in over 6 mos. and still ended up with 7 over for 18. Not a pro-v but still a great ball for less than half the cost.
P.S. I might be 62 but I can still drive 300 yds off the tee straight down the fairway.

Summary: I find the negative reviews hard to believe. This is a distance ball? Well your hands need to be checked. This is a very soft WOUND BALL. HOW CAN A WOUND BALL BE A "DISTANCE BALL". Second is the spin, If this ball is softer than the DT spin how can it spin less? Third of all this ball goes as long as a Nike TW so I find all your negative claims hard to believe.

Summary: After reading a good review of these balls at www.golfclubreview.com, I thought I'd give them a try. The ball has the traditional hard Tour Distance cover, but a soft wound inside. And here is where the problem starts...
I'm 6'9" and generate quite a bit of clubhead speed. After playing 4 holes with this ball I noticed that it was out of round. There was no external mark on cover to clue me into it, but as I teed the ball I looked down it noticed the problem. This happened on two different occasions during my 9 holes. All I can say is that the ball is nice and soft when hit with my blades, but the ball does rebound into shape very well.

Summary: This ball may not be the longest in the family but it is one of the most consistent. I can keep it in the fairway and it putts true. Pretty durable too. It also has enough feel to let you know how you have hit it. Not too soft and not too hard. Of all the Titleist balls this one is very underrated in my opinion.
