Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Wilson Tx4 Pro Summary: This is the best ball out there. I usually shoot in the low 80s or the high 70s. I am 14 and was looking for a decent ball at a cheap price. I used Pro V1x for a bit, but too expensive and not enough spin. I then used Pro V1, not long-enough. Then i decided to use these, and boy am i happy i did. I can spin back a 8 iron. They are perfect for my game, great spin and HUGE distance. These are the best balls ever. Customer Service: Not used Similar Products Used: Pro V1, Callaway Ix

Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: Wilson Staff Tx4 Pro Summary: I've been searching for a replacement ball and finally found one. This ball compares favorably to all the top end balls out there. Distance is about the same and greenside spin is excellent. Putting with the ball has a good click, not mushy like some of the others. My old ball was the Topflite (yes topflite) Strata TL Tour, which was killed off by Callaway when they bought out Topflite. Much of the patents of that ball went into what was the HX and now the Ix. It was the steal of the century at $25 a dozen. You can't get them any longer so that's why I mention them now. Hehehehoohoho. Those who played it know what I'm talking about. Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: Wilson TX4 ball Summary: The Wilson TX-4 ball is a very responsive ball, I can drive it over 300 yeards, yet it spins as well as an V1 and stops as quick. I do not feel that there is a better ball on the market today.

Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: Wilson Staff TX4 Summary: I play the Wilson TX4 and the Titleist ProV1x in alternance.
Both feel about the same, and are on the "firm" side of things, which I like.
The Wilson looks pretty cool with its flat dimples, and can't be mistaken with any other ball. Advantage Wilson.
They both spin very little off the driver, and behave perfectly. No winner here.
However the Wilson does spin significantly more off the irons and on approach shots. Advantage Wilson.
Distance wise, the ProV1x is longer by certainly 5 to 10 yards, otherwise I would be playing the Wilson all the time. Advantage Titleist.
Off the putter, I may prefer the unmatched responsiveness and feel of the ProV1x, but the Wilson isn't far behind. Advantage Titleist.
Price wise, it's a no brainer. The TX4 sells for $29.95, against $44.00 for the Titleist. Advantage Wilson.
All things considered, the Wilson is my ball of choice, although in some departments the Titleist betters it.
BTW the "new" TX4 Pro is simply the TX4 "improved" launched last year, in a new packaging for 2008.
