Summary:
This driver is very long when my swing speed is high, but on those days where I don't seem to have it the club lets me down. I've hit my best and worst drives with this club, but in the end it is not consisten enough for me.

Cobra X Speed Driver 460cc

Summary:
For the religious golfer who can really drive the ball accurately, this driver is for you. I have my driver equipped with the default shaft, and that thing is light and is great if you're looking to bomb the ball. Originally I hit a horrible 180 off the tee. After practicing with my driver, I found I was hittng the ball around 220. However I found it difficult to hit straight off the tee. Can have a nice draw, but also easy to slice. Still a great club.

Cobra X-Speed 10.5

Summary:
Very solid club.

I used to use a Callaway FT-3, but the ballflight was way to unpredictable, high slice, snap hook, I just needed a little more forgiveness.

Fitted with a Graffaloy Prolaunch, It is a good combo. I may upgrade to a YS-7+ for a little moore control.

I hit a highstraight/fade with it about 240-255. And I like the look of it at address

Cobra X-Speed Pro S

Summary:
I attended a Cobra Demo day and was impressed with the new line of Speed Pro drivers and fairway woods. My previous belief was that Cobra was more geared towards the senior player but it seems Cobra has changed their image to be a solid alternative to a wider variety (level) of player, at least in my eyes.

I hit both Speed Pro Models (Deep & Shallow) and had better launch mointor data with the shallow. Their launch monitor (Cobra) was accurate as I also had my own launch monitor (Zelocity) to compare data. I also preferred the profile of the shallow at address.

I purchased a Cobra Speed Pro Shallow 9.5 with stock Fujikura shaft. I am very happy with the performance as my "misses" are very acceptable. When hit pure, this combo is just as long as any other driver I have used. With all previous 460cc drivers, I felt I sacraficed distance for forgiveness as I was also longer with smaller driver heads but found more fairways with 460cc heads. I believe the Cobra Speed Pro Shallow gives you the best of both worlds (distance and accuracy).

A middle of the pack price point of $399 makes this stick great bang for the buck. A 4/5 rating for me since I still believe thats alot of "doh rae me" for a single club.

A definite keeper in the bag for now.
