Summary: Very good driver with a head that is hot and hits high. I play the 8.5* with stock Matrix stiff shaft. For me a smooth tempo and transition is key and I have no problem getting a good trajectory with a 100 SS. I'm not a bomber so going from my normal 44.5" to 46" gained me an additional 15 yards of carry but with no real loss of accuracy... and that was a pleasant surprise. This driver just wants to go straight.
The head looks traditional at address. The face sits square and I did not find the lack of an aiming device to be an issue. Nice solid sound at impact. I also have a 9064LS, but I prefer the Fast 10.

Model Reviewed: ADAMS GOLF SPEEDLINE FAST 10
Summary: I LIVE IN THE ATLANTA AREA AND WE HAVE THE "PGA GOLF SUPERSTORE" HERE AND THEY LET YOU TAKE DIFFERENT "DEMO" DRIVERS, WOODS, HYBRIDS, ETC TO THE GOLF COURSE FOR TWO DAYS AND TRY OUT (WHAT A GREAT WAY TO COMPARE CLUBS, BEFORE YOU BUY.) I TOOK ADAMS FAST 10, PING G15, AND FT9 AND EXPECTED THE ADAMS TO BE IN LAST PLACE. TO MY SURPRISE, THE ADAMS WITH MATRIX SHAFT WAS ABOUT 10-15 YDS LONGER THAN THE OTHERS, HIT ABOUT THE SAME NUMBER IN THE FAIRWAY OR OUT OF THE FAIRWAY WITH EACH BRAND SO WENT WITH DISTANCE. I LATER COMPARED THE ALDILA WASABI SHAFT AND THE MATRIX SHAFT AGAINST EACH OTHER ON THIS DRIVER, AGAIN OUT ON THE COURSE, AND THE MATRIX WAS BETTER FOR ME. OWNED IT FOR ABOUT 4-5 MONTHS, FOR ME IT HAS A LOT OF ROLL OUT AFTER IT LANDS. (I NOTICED, NOW, IN THE 2010 "GOLF TIPS" BUYERS GUIDE THEY TESTED 34 DRIVERS AND 4 GOT THE LONGEST DISTANCE AND THIS FAST 10 WAS ONE OF THEM.) ALSO, LAST FEBRUARY, "GOLF MAGAZINE", IN THEIR DRIVER TEST, LIKED THIS CLUB, PROBABLY THE REASON I TRIED IT.
I AM NOT AN "ADAMS" MAN, AS I OWN SEVERAL DIFFERENT BRANDS AND CARRY 5-6 DIFFERENT BRANDS IN MY BAG ON ANY GIVEN DAY. ANY BRAND THAT MAKES ME PLAY BETTER IS WHAT I AM AFTER.

Model Reviewed: Adams Speedline Fast 10 (Draw) 10.5*
Summary: I recently upgraded from my old Callaway Steelhead 10.5* to the speedline fast and am overall impressed. I have always had a left to right movement on my ball with the driver and the speed line draw turned my 240-260 yrd slice into a 250-285 yard draw that looks perfect. One thing i find about the speedline though is, that you have to hit pretty close to the sweetspot every time or it isnt gunna be pretty. I actually dont mind the sound of it at impact either, kinda sounds like an aluminum bat. Ive definatly heard worse sounds from a driver.
