Summary:
Picked this club up at a golf show over the winter as I figured what could it hurt for $40 (was looking for an 8 degree). It took a month or so to get used to the club, but I was hitting it well (250-280)by late Spring and on into the Summer months. Now the odd part...when the weather turned cooler, my drive went South, way South. For 2 months I struggled with this club hitting it all over the place. A week ago, I tried a friends Launcher out of desperation in 45 degree weather...there was my drive. I used it for 15 holes & it was a beautiful thing. Maybe it's in my head, who knows, but to me, this is not a cold weather club...period. I am ditching the club for a new Launcher.

Summary:
I agree with all the positive reviews: this is one nifty driver for the money. It's been around a while and like me you can probably find one in the bargain barrell. I got tired of looking for balls whacked into the woods from my Callaway Big Bertha Marketing Tool. The Adams driver keeps you in play and you don't have to pay for all the hype.
Being down the middle is the name of the game especially for us older duffers. You can swing it easy with good rhythm, and the ball will take off like a rocket, straight and consistent. Tee it mid to low to avoid popping it up....this isn't one of today's stack-faced mine sweepers...it's less than 300cc. In other words, it LOOKS like a driver.

never used them, but hear they are good

Adams 9.5 Driver FC

Summary:
I have been using the FC 1.5 years. It has helped me to correct my bananna slice.I have demoed all the top drivers and there is none that will hit the ball farther when hitting the sweet spot on the Adams. I love the driver and would be lost without it. I am 57 years old and my drives will range up to 275 yds. This will be my driver of choice until I can correct my swing and stop coming over the top. My only negative feed back is that I sometimes pull the ball left with the off set club face. If you have a bad slice this is the driver for you. The club alone will not correct all the slice but it helps a great deal. You can buy the club now for 60.00.
