Scratch Golfer
, from San Jose, CA Model Reviewed: Optima 500cc driver Summary: You can't miss a drive if you don't overswing with this 500cc beauty. Off center hits go as far as most peoples good drives. I've gained 10-20yds. Best suited with a 45-46inch regular shaft that is tipped and 3.2 torque to accomodate a smooth tempo for consistency and allows the big sweet spot to square up and launch a rocket. My shaft is KZG and was the third one tried to get right combination for consistency and extreme distance. The very large head doesn't bother me when the drives average out between 275-300yds depending on conditions. This is a Japanese driver and is not on the retail market nor are any US companies out with one yet.I've outdriven other good players using Ping and Taylor drivers by 20yds. Try it you'll love it. Customer Service: Small retail shop owner Ron Peach is the best and will let you try different combos before buying.

, from Copperopolis Model Reviewed: Adams SCII Summary: A good driver when hit solidly and on the sweet spot. Nothing fancy on distance either but a good follow through knocks the ball dead straight.I'll keep my Tour Edge Bazooka 320J in my bag and treat my Adams like a 3 wood off the tee.
