Wow bourght the band b fu2 on ebay and i must say the best £125 i ever spent.shaft ust compo reg flex 12 loft.ive been useing taylormade r9 supertri driver for last year. Bang bang bang the first time ever flew past the 300yd pole on the range.THE BANG DRIVER PUTS THE R9 TO SHAME.

I compete in the Remax Longdrive Competition in 2006 here in Hawaii. During my warmups before competing I broke the shaft on the club I was going to hit with (an SMT 454 with a Harrison Pro 2.5 Fl Lite 3XShaft which is a great club for me.) Distraught, I wondered if one of the other competitors would offer to let me use a club. To my surprise a few did, and after looking at their clubs, I didnt see one that I felt matched me. Saddened, I was ready to leave when a gentleman named Les had a Bangenstein FU2. The club performed superbly. Already warm I hit my balls. The first thing I noticed was the sound when contact was made. You gotta hear it to understand, but I love the way it sounds. Performance? My swing was at fault, let me get that out of the way first. Although missing the fairway by a few feet on each side the ball flight was superb and a little lower than I was expecting. Distance? I had 4 over 340 yards, into the wind. Feel? I loved it, it felt as good as my SMT (another club I play with.) I don't even bother with Titleist, Callaway, Cobra...etc. I like going for the underdog and dont like paying an inflated price so the sponsored players get their paycheck. If you see a Bangenstein club, offer to buy a bucket of balls for the owner if he will let you hit it a few times, you will fall in love with it.

Very nice finish and the green color offers a little different look. This club is very forgiving with off center hits. The triple wall design is really effective. When you strike it in the middle it is as long as any club out there. The weight is in the face of the club so the ball flight is a little lower than normal. Go with a higher loft and you regain all the carry. Mine was shafted with the Harrison Pro 2.5 which is also green and looks great. The low torque of this shaft really lets you go at it without spraying the ball all over the place. Great combination. its big green and mean. dont be misled about what multi wall (face) drivers are all about. they dont offer more distance or straigther flight, what they do is make for a sweetspot almost as large as the entire face of the club. this is where the bangenstein excells. its probably the most forgiving driver on the planet. i have 2 of these set up for different types of courses, one for all out distance and another for tighter target courses. they both hit very well and i like them but they are not my favorites. they are solid with square to slightly closed faces. they are not cures for swing flaws or the "miracle" clubs that some have hoped for. if you make contact all over the face and would like to recover some of that distance loss then the Bangenstein might be for you.

I have been hitting a Titleist 983k with an x-flex Speeder shaft for about 6 months now. I've never really had good luck with Titleist drivers. On the course, I finally got fed up with the thing and pulled out an old 1997 Mizuno driver. I was hitting it about 25 yards past the Titleist. That was the end. So, I found a used Bangenstein on eBay and on a lark, ordered it. It has an accuflex vision stiff flex shaft. Now a white shaft with the green head, I have to say that the word unconventional came to mind when I unwrapped it. But any concerns about image were gone when I hit the first ball on the range. This club is easily 45 yards beyond my Titleist. The club is as smooth as silk and ball comes off HOT. A nice medium-low trajectory (I'm hitting a 9 degree). And it's fairly loud. If you are afraid of drawing attention on the course, this is not your club. Between the color, the FU2 label on the headcover, and the noise generated, I would suggest having a game that can back it up. If you do, it will not dissappoint.
