Callaway 454 Ti Big Bertha Driver

Summary:
Driving the ball has always been the fun for me. On average I am around 300 and able to reach 330+ depending on the wind. I have shot the FT, 460, Ping G10, Ping G8, Taylor R7, Titleist 905, Taylor Burners (great clubs also) and the Callaway 454 is by far my favorite out of all these clubs. I don't think this club is the most forgiving but it hits longer than any other club. The noise it makes always turns heads on the tee box and driving range. I love the noise. I've had the club for over two years now and I'll probaly play it for quite some time to come. If you like hitting them long you'll like this club.

454 9*

Summary:
Just bought this club today. $99 bucks, brand new from my golf store. I saw 2 places on my home course that I have never seen before. I hit it high and just pound it. Puts my ft3 8.5* callaway to shame...10-15 yards longer and much easier to hit.

Summary:
Don't pay $100s or even $50 more until you've tried this club. This club reduced backspin, sidespin, carried further, and released further than the G5 and Callaway X460 I hit on a launch monitor the same day.

Big Bertha Ti 454

Summary:
I've had this club 4 years now. I have it equipped with the Graffaloy Prolaunch Blue (mid-high kickpoint). The driver is 8* and I had the shaft +2" from standard. Needless to say, my drives are bullets!! I've always been fond of Callaway woods. It may just be me, but I've noticed if I "get on this driver" I have a tendancy to hook it. But with the longer and stiff shaft, I don't get on it very often, no need to. It took me some time and experimentation to arrive at the configuration of my driver, but I don't know if I could be pleased any better with something else. This club is not the easiest to work, I can draw and fade, but I have hit others that are easier. But this club is loooooong and straight. It sounds good off the tee and the feedback with the upgraded shaft is remarkable. I have a lot of confidence in this club and usually the longest off the tee in my group. The set up on this driver is to keep the ball looow. So, in my case, it is important to hit it in the screws. This club makes it easy to do this. I have the newer Callaway 460 3 wood and I absolutey love this club so much so, that I have considered hitting the 460 driver. But I think that I will playing my 454 for some time. Wonderful club.

Customer Service:
My experience with Callaway customer service has been nothing but fantastic. Back their products professionally.
