Summary:
I Changed my 11º reg persimon driver to the first Taylor Made 9º reg steel driver many years ago. I hit the ball very high with all my clubs and I was very happy with that little driver head. Then changed to the Callaway 9º stiff Hawk Eye VFT. It was very difficult to hit and seemed to loose distance due to very low ball flight, so I seldom hit it. Then changed to the first 10.5º reg Taylor Made R7 quad driver. I got good distance but also difficult to hit and only worked with the heavy screws at the back. I seldom hit it and only played hybrids. Last month I bought the 11º reg 460 BB driver. It is a world in it´s own. First thing it looks nice. It looks incredibly easy. The shaft seems to be very short and you feel as if you were hitting a hybrid iron. The heads sits perfect on the ground. The feedback you receive is always confidence, confidence, confidence. You look forward to the next tee to play your driver. Remenber I previously almost never hit may previous drivers. The white line helps you a lot in squaring the face. Although the shaft is very soft, the feel and distance is good enough. Being the shaft so soft it promotes a correct pace of swing. Being the driver so light you easily achieve a great swing speed. It is so easy to hit that it is very difficult not to hit a decent shot. Sweet spot shofts feel normal. Corner shots feel like the shaft is bending too much and at the same time gearing the shot as it will end in the fairway with little distance loose. Almost all balls are going to end long and in the fairway. It may not be the longest man but it definetively is the easiest and that is mucht to say when you are talking about the most difficult club in the bag. Now it is easier for me to play than my hybrids. If you are not a scratch player you better take a look. Handicap 15, five iron distance 170 yards and 40 years old. It is a bargain.

There is a lot of rubbish reviews out there but I plan to make an honest one.

I have never had confidence off the tee and decided to purchase the Callaway Big Bertha 460 driver off ebay. What a purchase.

Im not going to lie to you, you will not suddenly hit over 300 yards. You will however find it a whole lot easier to hit the ball straight. I am now on the fairway roughly 16 or 17 out of 18 holes, previously I was lucky to be on 9.

You will not be disappointed if you are looking to hit the fairways off the tee. When you catch it sweet too the ball will fly.

If you are looking for a driver to inspire confidence this is the club for you.

Summary:
I spent last week trying out drivers to replace my old one. I recently developed a habit of hitting a very bad hook near the end of rounds once I began to fatigue (old age can do that to you). When the club pro came into the shop on Monday he suggested I try hitting different shafts using the Big bertha 460 driver so we could get the weight right for the new driver (different brand than BB460) I planned to order. After I hit the BB460 for the first time I was stunned by how easy it was to hit. This driver wasn't even on my list of candidates. I'm a long hitter and it felt like I was hitting a wedge instead of a driver. I bought one off the shelf on the spot and went straight to the course and shot my lowest round of the year. This game is a lot easier when you play it from the short grass using driver / wedge to hit the greens. I may have lost a yard or 2 in distance, but not having to go around trees or hit from sand traps more than makes up for it.

Summary:
I bought this driver from a guy that had used it twice.  I had priviously bought the Cleveland Hibore XL and was very disapointed in the distance and how straight my ball went.  Since getting the Big Bertha my game has drastically improved.  I am not driving over 280 consistantly and perfectly straight.  I highly recommend it to anyone with a slice or someone looking for a club that still performs great after off-center hits.
