Scratch Golfer Model Reviewed: FT-Tour 8.5 Voodoo SVS6 Summary: To give you people some perspective and to authenticate this review, I am an excellent ball striker. Now, on to the review:
This club is longer than any other I've hit. The Voodoo SVS6 has the perfect flex for this head. The result is a penetrating bomb with very low spin that runs out after it lands. I hit this club 20 yards further than my Callaway Hyper X Tour and 30 yards longer than the Titleist 909 D3. The only club that comes close is the Ping i15 but even that club is 10 yards short of the FT-Tour.
This club encompasses everything the advanced player seeks in a club--compact head design, slightly open face, pear shaped head, 45 inch shaft and an attractive head/shaft combination. Most of all, it doesn't shoot the ball up into the air like so many of the hacker-market drivers that are designed for the player that can't get it up.
I would appreciate it if the high 80's and above golfers (notice I didn't call you players) would stay clear of the reviews for this club. The FT-Tour was designed for the better player. A high handicap chopper doesn't offer any insight to this club simply because it wasn't designed for him. Thanks ahead of time.
I can't wait to take this one out to the course again and drive it 30 yards past everyone. Let's face it guys, that's what golf is all about. You outdrive your buddies, you outscore them and then you take their money along with their pride.
Hit 'em well out there. Customer Service: I just call the advanced player hotline. I can't give it out here. Similar Products Used: All of the advanced drivers designed for the better player. I don't try out offset drivers or one's with ridiculous lofts over 10 degrees. That's hacker stuff.
