SS 350 offset R flex

Summary:
I have shot as low as 84 and as high as 104 this season so shoots in the 90's is painful but true. I bought this driver for around 100 dollar off Ebay late spring. I've been playing it regularly ever since. Before I had this driver I usually played a 5 wood off of the tee box because I was too inconsistent for a driver. (for a while I didn't even lug a driver in the bag) I was a typical push slice hitter so drives started right and kept moving that way.
-This driver has a highly radiused face so mis-hits are brought back towards the target line. (I've had many shots that are heel or toe struck and they end up playable and still manage pretty good distance)
-The degree to which the clubface is closed is pretty noticeable which makes address a bit confusing.
-The R flex shaft is a bit too flimsy compared to other R flex shafts I've owned (maybe a stiff shaft for guys that can drive 250 regularly)

I love the club, but it should be bought as a stepping stone. Had I bought something else I would probably still be teeing off with the 5 wood. I've learned to drive and have grown confident enough to move to a driver with no offset, stiff shaft, and a neutral bias. (I now have a tendancy to draw or even hook sometimes.) Perhaps I'll still use a draw bias but I don't want the offset to help square the face anymore.
I'll still stay in the Cobra family. Low CG and high MOI rule reign supreme.

cobra 350ss

Summary:
I have stayed away from this oversized driver craze(because i couldnot control any of them).I could hit my 3 wood down the middle 230-250yds and always in position for the next shot... Every 3 or 4 months I got the urge to see if I could hit the 400cc+, but always the same story. Mainly pushed or sliced to the right, but out there 275 yds. The Vijay Singh strategy of smash and go find it down near the green wasn't working at all! I went to a golf only retailer and went thru the trade ins and found a Cobra 350 SS with stock HM reg shaft for $69. At that price I had to try it. The 400cc+ models were no fun at all to go find in the woods. I did not know the SS model had a closed face and that was the cure I needed for my slicing. I hit 10 balls off the tee (no one was out on the course) that all went straight!! The 10.5 loft gets the ball a little higher than I like, but I not complaining. Does not go as far as 400++, but I can find it. Great club ,great sound, above average shaft, and one ugly head cover.

King Cobra 350SS 7.5* X-Stiff shaft

Summary:
I had bought a Ben Hogan C-S3 9.5* with the stock Aldila Stiff flex shaft and wasn't happy with it. I was always skying my ball like a wedge. It would fly 275-285yds on a good hit, but i got now roll from it. Most of the time I popped it up like a wedge. Anyways, after playing three months of horrible golf(due mostly to inconsistency off the tee), I decided to sell the Hogan and find something new. I went to a pro shop, told the guy what I wanted, he gave me 4 different drivers and about 30 balls to hit. I started off with a Cobra 400sz 7.5* stiff shaft and I just couldn't control it. I tried the King Cobra 350SS 7.5* X-Stiff shaft. I hit my first three balls to the end of the range(about 300yds) and straight. I thinking maybe it's a fluke and went to the next club which was the same club with a stiff shaft instead of the X-stif shaft the other one had. My ball flew anywhere, but straight. Then I tried the last club, which was a ping i-3 blue model driver. No distance and no control. After that I had about 15 Balls left so i decided to hit the King Cobra 350SS 7.5* X-Stiff shaft again. To my amazement, I hit most of those balls over 300yds and straight again(with the exception of 2 or 3 that I topped from being so elated about finding the right driver finally). Needless to say I sold my Hogan C-s3 the next day and went out and bought the King Cobra 350SS 7.5* X-Stiff shaft. After playing a round with it and shooting a 42, I would recommend this extremely LONG and very accurate driver to anybody. Now I can stand over my ball on the tee with confidence unlike with the Hogan. Not since I had the KZG Gemini 395cc model(great club,BTW), have I been able to do this. I think I like the Cobra more then I liked the Gemini. Anyways, I recommend the King Cobra 350SS 7.5* X-Stiff shaft to any one that hit hard and wants a long and straight ball flight. For only $75(bought used), I know I'm happy and I will guarrantee your happines too. The only negative thing is that i didn't find it soon enough.

Customer Service:
Not sure, but I read in another review Cobra is a Titliest owned comapany, so it's gotta be good.
