Honma Golf Twin Marks 425RF

Description
Multiple channels are cut into the crown, which gives the head a greater overall elasticity even with off-center hits, creating a gear effect.

Summary:
Tried this club on the suggestion of the salesperson. I used it for several days. The club is long and trajectory about a degree or 2 higher than what is stated on the club. The ARMRQ shaft is a nice feature but as is the case with most japanese clubs, the flex is softer than what is specified. Their stiff shaft is more like a regular flex but if you tone down your tempo a bit, you'll be pleased with the results. It's a very loud club as the ball makes contact with the face. Almost like a porcelain plate shattering. I believe this is due to the new face they are using ( Titanium with DAT55G) Don't ask me what that might be. Your guess is as good as mine. All I know is that it is an even thinner face than their original SP700 titanium face. I've been a honma user for some time now. The club is forgiving and hits go a long way. Compared to the R7 or R5 or even the Cobra 460, this will at very least, go as long if not significantly longer. It's an expensive club but if you have the funds, I would recommend it over Honma's MG460RF or even the MG410. Club head doesn't look as big as its stated dimension. Try it. You just might like the performance.
