Description SP-700 Titanium Alloy:
Superplastic titanium alloy
Exceptional strength-to-weight ratio
High resistance to stress fatigue
Superplastic (SP) titanium alloys emerged in the late 1990’s in answer to increased demand from the military, aerospace and commercial aviation industries for higher strength, fatigue-resistant titanium for use in the manufacture of a new generation of commercial and military aircraft. Developed by NKK Corporation (Japan), SP-700 is a beta-rich titanium alloy (4.5% aluminum, 3% vanadium, 2% molybdenum, 2% iron) that exhibits an exceptionally high strength-to-weight ratio relative to conventional titanium alloys.
SP-700 Forged Faceplate™ Technology:
Thin face design for maximum rebound speed.
As a crossover technology, SP-700 has proven invaluable to the development of the Genex 425 Forged woods. Because of it’s enhanced mechanical properties (low density, high strength-to-weight ratio, high resistance to deformation and stress fatigue), SP-700 has allowed us to develop an extremely thin, incredibly responsive clubface that delivers the highest rebound speeds permissible under the new COR ruling.
COR Speed Zone™ Technology
Variable face thickness geometry
Expanded effective rebound area
Summary: ove the look of this driver, it looks black but once you take it out in the sunlight it turns a cool reddish color. The head looks smaller than other 400+ cc drivers due to the deep face I presume.
Performance wise, I really like this driver. I have hit the longest drives of my life with this club and have added a conservative 10-15 yards. The stock Speedrated shaft is great low torque shaft and has a nice smooth feel.
I do battle a slight push with this club, I don't know if it's the longer shaft or maybe a flatter lie angle than my Titleist 975J but it is a very long and solid club. I play the 425 forged on more open courses and play the 975j on tighter courses.
I am really enjoying snatching up great equipment like this on ebay for peanuts. It's a shame this company is out of business. I play their 4dx 2 hybrid and it is also a great club.

Summary: Haven't played a round yet, but love it on the range. Very impressed by nickent products and this appears to be a good one as well. Value is the most important factor to me and I feel like I robbed to candy store when I won this auction club! Not sure the shaft is right for me, I might switch out one of my Aldilas for more comfort.
Customer Service: I've owned a set of irons and now this driver and haven't had to contact their customer service. I hear they are pretty supportive.

Summary: Its the best driver in my Weds group I think. It out drives expensive name brands which my partners carry, as I've tried them all, hence, while I continue looking, it would have to be a pretty incredible driver for me to leave this OLD stick. I think Nickent is onto something with the thin forged Titanium face. And, they put a nice light 55 gram UST shaft (stiff tip) on it.

Summary: Picked up the club early last year for $99 CDN, won 3 longest drive prizes at various tournaments that year...the longest being a 328 yarder...pretty good for a clown who shoots in the high 80's low 90's. I found the 55 gram shaft a little to whippy though. When I eased up, the ball would fly a consistent 260 straight. I just picked up the same club this year for 49 CDN with a 9 degree loft and stiffer, 95 MPH speed rated shaft. Hoping for big things...easily the best bang for the buck...
