I bought this a a few years back. When I was 17, my Dad upgraded my basic starter set to a new set of TaylorMade irons. As I got better at the game, I wanted a driver with a big head that was forgiving and could send it flying. That's exactly what this driver did for me. It feels great, makes a great sound, and was very forgiving when I was still struggling to find my swing. I slice...a lot, but I feel I can take most of the blame there. Nike Ignite TW 9.5 stiff
I've been playing this TW Ignite for 3 seasons now and though I've tried the newer, big headed SUMO and others, and like them ok, I keep going back to the Ignite. When hit well, it feels and sounds the best. I have hit a few 300 yarders (I'm almost 60 years old) with it and average around 250. I will probably try other drivers next season but I feel good knowing I can always go back to the Ignite and be content. Nike 350 cc Ti 9.5
I tried a few drivers and expensive ones. The oversize drivers 415-460 cc heads just didn't impress me. It felt like having a bowling ball tied to the end of a broom stick. I guess that this is a matter of preference. What I really like about the Nike 350cc is that the size is in the right place. The face of the club is very deep. It is as deep as most 400cc drivers. This gives me a large sweet spot without a massive head. The club is very well balanced and the shaft (fujikura) and the grip make it a superb club. For the price under 200$ all this with a Forged titanium head is exceptional. When I hit the driver, at first I wasn't impressed. It even felt a bit dull. After a few rounds and getting used to it, I realised that I had a very respectfull, classy looking booomer in my hands. I gained 40 yards of distance and was hitting straight (a forgiving club). On average over 280 yards and hitting those 320 yard drives. The balls just goes and goes.
