Ping G5 Driver

Summary:
Got mine as a demo from a trade-in.

Very long driver. Currently have the 9* with Prolaunch Blue in stiff flex. Prefer a 9.5 degree, but too bad this doesn't come in that loft.

Impact sound is pure sex. Not as forgiving as I would hope (like the Callaway 454), but a very powerful driver with a hotface.

Ping G5

Summary:
Love this club ! I have put my wife in the garage and now my driver next to me in bed.I used to struggle to get 220 with any driver, not today. I was getting 260-270 yards no problem. One drive went even further maybe 300.But the best part is they were dead straight.Down the middle and looong.Well long for me anyway.
My playing partners got sick of saying
"great drive".I usually shoot high 90s
not today.I shot 90 and won the day with
42 stableford points.Love this driver.
Love the feel, love the sound it makes and I could not believe how far it went.It was my best driving performance ever(only 2 missed fairways.I never thought I would hit it 270 but I did it easily today and it was my first time using the G5.There was 1 drive I hit and it had wind behind it but it flew so far an older playing partner commented he could not remember a longer drive on that hole.I cannot wait to see how much better I can hit it.
I feel as if I can swing as hard as I like and it will go straight.Thank you ping you have made me love golf again !
