Summary: This is a great club for the price!
My friend bought this club for $90 but eventually got a king cobra so he sold it to me for $20, After acouple hits I could definately tell that this club is as good as the $500 + clubs that taylor made makes! I definately recomend one!

Model Reviewed: Taylor Made Burner 420
Summary: As a weekend golfer, I struggled for years with inconsistent tee shots. The Burner 420 is a wonderous instrument that's improved my tee game immensely. I love the sound of this club, the distance, and the consistency. I bought it for $65 at Costco at a closeout sale. People I play with want one too but they're now hard to find.
Customer Service: Never used.

Summary: This driver is very pleasing to the eye on set up, the crown lines and colour fit my eye. The size of the head is large, but doesn't look so large it is distracting. The sound of the club is a high pitched crack, also very pleasing. The driver is currently discontinued, however you can get one at very reasonable prices if you're lucky in a pro shop or on ebay. I find it isn't the longest club I've ever hit, but the weight, appearance, and accuracy are much more pleasing, and it's performance is more consistent than the drivers I've previously used. I am pleased as the current ball flight matches with what I was looking for. Bottom line, looks great, low price, not quite the perfect driver, but pretty close just as good as any of taylormade's newest entries. Probably will play it for several years to come.

Summary: This driver is amazing and very reasonable. I hit a R7 and it didnt compare in distance or forgiveness to the burner. I got the club for 95 $ on ebay new. I would highly recommend this club over the 500-700 $ R7. I've been hitting straighter and my drives are moon shots.

Summary: I've been playing a Titleist 983K for a year and it never felt right, although highly regarded. Started snooping around on ebay for R7's, R5's, and Launchers. Came across some great deals but before buying I demo'd all the above mentioned to see which I liked best. Didn't like the Launcher(too big 460cc), and I thought the TM"s all seemed the same, just the address was a bit different. And I read the face technology is the same. I swear to you, this driver feels the same to me as the R7, just much, much cheaper. The store I demo'd at only had a used R420, I wanted new. Found one on eBay for $75 new in plastic. Done deal. I love this driver, perfect size head (405cc), nice carry and a nice little fade as well. If your looking for a new weapon, this is most def. worth a try, if you can still find one. This is just unknown jewel of a club that got discontinued to sell the more expensive R7's and R5's. Nice looking and cool headcover too. Just make good contact and don't overswing and its hammered with this driver!
Customer Service: Who cares it was $75!
