Shoots in the 90s Model Reviewed: MSD1 Summary: First I must specify I’ve tried this club, and I am not the owner. This drive is from a line dedicated to women. I bought the driver for my wife as a Christmas’ gift just some week ago. Actually I wouldn’t be surprised if I was the first one to buy it at the store. To be honest it was new, expensive, looks kind of neat and classy and I had no idea what to buy to a woman who has everything, so I let the man in me buy the new kid on the block.
My wife totally adores it, she raves about it, talks about it to her playing friends, and she convinced me to try it while we were in vacations in the south for New Year.
I want one! I have in my bad some Honma Beres 913 and I thought I was using my own club, the Mia Shawn’s was a bit larger with 460cc, but the swing was very good, the sound when hitting the ball was great but it wasn’t forgetful at all I won’t give that driver to a starter, it nicknamed it the ‘sniper rifle” in experienced hands it is very very precise.
The weight is quite light, compared to my clubs and the other drivers I’ve used it is quite light and I’ve noticed it while swinging it away. Very smooth, very easy on the hand and arms, I think they were right when the salesman was telling me it was built for a woman but designed like a man, nice sale pitch! I was told it was made in Japan, with all the Japanese standards and so on, I cannot say if it is true, I’ve heard the company is Canadian in origin, true or not, I don’t know.
It is very similar to my Honma’s driver, but with lot of different aspects, and it is half the price, very high quality, well made, well done, a bit different, for some the price might be high, but compared to similar drivers it is a bargain.
I would like them to make clubs for men now!!!! (if you read, please take note!)
