Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: Vulcan Caldera Z440 Summary: Needed a replacement for by R7 that developed crack in sole. Swung nearly everything under the sun in simulator at local golf shop. Compared directly to latest models from TM, Callaway, Nike, Cobra, Mizuno. The Vulcan was as long and as straight as any of them. In fact, it consistently gave me the most carry and accuracy. Came with stock Aldila 65-R shaft. It's a beautiful club to boot. Then, the best part. Paid all of $33 for it brand new. Saved >$150 and didn't give up anything but brandname. Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: vulcan caldera 440 z driver Summary: I inherited this club by way of a bad temper. One of my golfing buddies snapped the shaft on this club in anger, then threw the club in a shallow pond.I retrieved it.Being a club builder I put a YS-6 type II shaft in it.
Now this was a god send to me.
I have found "THE CLUB".This thing
puts the ball out there like no other.
The ball explodes off the face.
I have picked up 40 (yes 40 ) yards of carry. This club is for real.
Giving this club 5 stars is not enough. I give it 5 plus.
Was it the shaft that created this hot club?I don't
know.Didn't get to hit it with the original shaft so don't know.
Price?I got mine ....well you now know the story.
