Summary: I just purchased this driver, barely used, for under $100 on eBay. What a bargain for great performance! The beta-Ti head is big and forgiving, but not unwieldly like the +400cc Launcher or TM 580. The MFS 35 shaft is a great combination with this driver. For my 85-95mph swingspeed, the shaft stays very true during the swing, with no perception of twisting, even when I swing too hard. This head/shaft combination is also very easy to track during the backswing, a big bonus for someone like me learning how to swing with an even tempo. The sweetspot on this driver is huge. Even with a shot grouping around the heel of the club, I was able to get +200 yards straight.
The black glossy head is beautifully finished and is especially nice looking with the black MFS shaft. Rather than putting an arrow or logo on the crown, the head has a ridge down the center that acts as the alignment marker, similar to the latest Adams drivers. The effect is actually more comfortable for me: since I have little desire to mirco-manage my alignment, I can concentrate on taking it back slow and steady.

Customer Service: When I had a question about getting a headcover, I emailed the company and got a reply from the company president himself. When I ordered the headcover, John spoke to me in-depth about his products and was
very receptive to my comments. Try doing that with ANY of the conglomerate companies that dominate the industry. This company really cares about its products and how golfers react to them. This is no clone company; Zero Tolerance products stand on their own merits, and they stand tall.
Similar Products Used: Wilson Deep Red fat shaft (couldn't get over the sound of the shaft); Dunlop Exceed and Pro Select Metalhead (good, cheap drivers, but they have poor finishes)

Model Reviewed: ZT Premier 385
Summary: Since receiving the club about three weeks ago I have been very pleased with the results that I and others are getting. The club has a ZT SLT 60 regular flex shaft, blue fading to black, which looks nice with the lovely black finish on the head. The club is 46.25 in long with a swing weight of D4, loft of 10.5 deg and is fitted with a Lamkin Crossline grip.
The trajectory is variable depending on the ball placement and tee height and the ball can be worked either way with little difficulity and is as long a driver as has been my experience. Sound is a solid thunk with no tinnyness that some of the bigger drivers have and has great feel. The club came with a good quality ZT headcover The club will stay in the bag, although I may change shafts during the winter.
In summary, a very long driver that is easy to work and forgiving on mis hits.
Customer Service: There was a delay of some three months from ordering due to various factory problems and the shaft is a substitute for the one originally offered, again due to factory problems. In spite of the wait frustration and shaft change I am still happy with the final product

Summary: This driver is simply amazing. I have gained atleast another 50 yds off the tee. It is very forgiving and easy to hit. It seems technolog does make a difference. It is truly an amazing club. Keep them coming:

Summary: My driver had the Fujikura Vista Tour 70. By far the best feature of this club is the appearance. This club will ultimately be one of those clubs you either love or you hate. I personally like the looks over the Maxima 400 (which was is no longer in the bag). I like not having the site line and the top bar reminds me to take a more inside path. The finish is very nice and the black painted head seems to calm me down. I think the black color also makes the head appear smaller. The sound/feel seemed more metallic than the 400 but not too loud say for example, the Pings. This maybe why the face seems more hot to me. I do believe this one has better feedback on mis-hits, though. Not as forgiving as the Maxima 400 but I guess that's the trade off for a more workable 385cc head. The distance was about the same with the 400. Keep in mind that the Premier 385 is not replacing the 400 as the new and improved. Rather, another quality offering from ZT. This has replaced my 400 because it's easy to work the ball and more pleasing to my eye at set-up. This club was real easy to draw and fade (The 400 tended to want to go straight). John has another winner here on his hands!
