This is a great 3 wood. Almost everyone who has given it a swing loves it and in my opinion Adams provides the best value in golf. With my old 3 wood i had to really muscle into it to get 3 wood distance but the face on this adams Ti is HOT! A nice easy swings puts it out there about 200 yards and that is about the same distance i usually hit my driver. To be perfectly honest, my best drive on the course is about 270 and i have hit this 3 wood off the rug 220 more than a few times so i dont hesitate to say that this baby really goes. To give another example my dad usually pokes his driver out about 160-180 and he hits this past that everytime he swings it and if not for the shallow face i would be telling him to ditch the driver all together and just swing this instead. This club isnt just for high handicappers either, a very good friend of mine who doesnt carry any woods at all except his driver and plays blades recently played a round with me and after he saw my poor swing blast this club he asked to give it a swing and with 240 yards to the center of the green i saw my buddy fly it over with a smooth swing and it had him rethinking his club selection knowing that with a club like this in his bad no par 5 would be out of his reach in two. The coolest thing to me about this club is that you can hit it from anywhere and it swings great just like the old tight lies did. It isnt my favorite 3 wood from the tee due to its shallow face but off the fairway, the rough, or even a bunker this baby just goes.

Ive swung almost every new wood out there and while i liked the movable weights of the r7 ti i couldnt bring myself to spend 3 times as much on it.

Model Reviewed: 15 degree regular shaft 3 wood

I am fifteen and saying I have been playing for about 1 1/2 years now. Up until a few months ago, i used my mitsushiba 5 wood off of the tee (dont bother with that brand - they are poor quality and continue breaking). But now that I have this Adams Redline, I am hitting the ball straighter and longer. Although I have to be careful not to tee this club up too high (its very easy to pop up with all of the weight on the bottom of the club), most of my drives go straight and roll a mile. I have had great success with adams clubs and will definitely continue purchasing them. They are priced just right and are great for beginners like me.

Model Reviewed: Adams RPM Ti Fairway 3 & 5

First exposed to clubs in tournament where I played with a guy connected to Adams Golf corporate. Had brand new woods. Demo'ed the woods on-course with him and decided to order the matching 3 & 5 wood, Redline RPM Titanium w/ Aldila NV shafts. Received the clubs about a month ago. These are quality clubs. Well built, well designed. If you like the "upside down" clubhead style of Adams' clubs, you'll love these. They set up straight and provide a heck of a lot of confidence over the ball. The faces are deep so using them off the tee isn't a problem. I'm a pretty strong player with a moderatly fast swing (about 109mph) so sending the ball about 280 with the three wood off the tee isn't uncommon. 250 from the rough? 5 wood gets out and lands soft on the green for eagle putts. The upside down clubhead allows you to attack the ball to hit it high or low. These clubs are very workable, cutting or drawing shots can easily be achieved. The feel is very solid, however, if you like the metallic feel of standard all-body steel or titanium clubs, the somewhat dampened feel of these clbus (attributable to the carbon-fiber crown) will deter you, but shouldn't. In fact, i've grown quite fond of the more "woody" feel. (less like hitting the ball with a aluminum bat and more like a Louisville slugger solid). These have replaced the Ping Tisi Tec woods that were in my bag for 3 years previous. And the NV shafts are defintely worth the extra investment if you care about ball flight. As with any club, do yourself a favor and try to get fitted and custom order your clubs. Stock shafts don't fit everyone, especially not better players.
