Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Adams XTD A3os 3-Wood (15*) Summary: This is my first review - I basically signed up to write this review because I am so impressed with this club. I have never felt confident hitting a 3-wood, even though it is supposed to be a consistent replacement when the driver is playing wild. I guess I hadn't played one that was forgiving enough for my wood play (which is average). This 3-wood by Adams is like nothing I have ever hit before (top of the line drivers included). I hit a bunch of balls at the same target and had less than 10 yards dispersion and consistent distance for all but 2 shots and even the worst wasn't OB.
Comes standard with an Aldila DVS 65 shaft (I play stiff) and it plays perfectly for me. Trajectory with this club is perfect - it gets the ball up the same from tee or grass if you hit it anywhere close to the middle of the face. I hit it further than any previous fairway metal and on many days challenges my driver's distance (and contact is much more consistent). I love this club. Customer Service: NA Similar Products Used: I used to carry a Mizuno F-50 4-wood, but replaced it with this and it is much better for me. I can see the merits in the F-50 for advanced players to shape shots (it is a quality player's club) but the ADAMS XTD is the one you want if you just want a straight shot every time.
