bang mellow yellow

Summary:
best fairway woods i have ever used. distance is great and the forgiveness is as good as it gets. I have a 3 wood 5 wood and for the first time a 7 wood. these are clubs that will stay in my bag for a long time. the only thing that changes is which ones i play with because of the 14 club rule i usually have to take one out of the 3 out. BOTTOM LINE BUY THE MELLOW YELLOW FAIRWAY WOODS

Mellow Yellow 420 Driver and 3 wood.

Summary:
Got the driver and 3 wood of ebay and love them. The 3 wood was great to play with. It had a fairly large face so I thought it would be difficult to get airborne as is my 15 degree Cleveland Launcher Titanium. WRONG. I hit several excellent shots off the turf right away, and while they weren't pro trajectory, they certainly were higher and longer than my launcher. Off the tee the launcher and the yellow were equidistant but it seemed the yellow was straighter or should I say "more easily hit straight by me".

Bottom line, what is not to like for an aging golfer with a 85-95 mph swing. I also enjoyed the driver, but am not convinced that is any longer than my Cobra SZ460 but once again, the sweet spot and the fairways did seem easier to find initially.

Mello Yellow 3 and 5 wood

Summary:
WOW....Had the pro at my local range build these clubs up using UST 65 stiff shafts. What is not to like. I am as average a struggling golfer as anyone. Everyone who hits them likes them of course the brilliant yellow heads and matching covers will get you a little ribbing but who cares. These woods are all about a nice swing with decent speed. Really going after them for me results in a serious draw but concentrating on not trying to kill it gives a slight draw and great distance every time.

You name it but never anything too expensive. Tried the LaJolla Knife 3 and 5 but could not hit them to save my life.
