Description Stainless steel head designed with thin faces and weight placed low in the back of the clubhead for greater accuracy, distance and higher trajectory.
Summary: I am a 15 year old kid shoots in the low 80's and all I can saw about this club is HOLY COW! I used to never play my 3wood thinking "ehh I'll just use driver" but this club completely changed my mind. This 3wood has become my go-to club. whenever i am in a match and am feeling nervous, this club proves to be the most reliable club in my bag. I used to play my 3wood at 230 yards(weak for matches) but with the cobra SS, i am now averaging 260 yards every time.

Summary: My grandpa got these Cobra clubs free from his storage unit place he owns and gave them to me! I used to have a Wilson set and these new clubs are amazing! i used to drive 175-210 now im driving 220-275! The head makes a nice metalic sound when u hit it and the balls go much straighter this is the best clubs ever
Summary: I have the SS 350 driver - best driver I've owned so I thought I'de try the 5 wood too. Don't like it at all. Small club head & very heavy. I swing too fast thru it & too many mis hits. More of a pear shaped head than flat bottom that I prefer. If you can hit it, it goes far.

Model Reviewed: Cobra SS Hyper Steel Fairway Woods
Summary: I have the 3+ (strong 3) and the 5. The 5 comes in & out of my bag based on other clubs I may want to bring so I'll review my experience with the 3+. I do not have much experience witn other fairway woods. I hit a Callaway VFT at the store, and it seemed OK, but not enough to have me switch out of this.
I started to get serious with golf 18 months ago. My trouble with my game in general is consitancy.
But this 3+ wood is great for me. Every game I have, whoever is with me usually compliments me about one thing, and it is always after I hit this club.
This club is long. It is easy to hit off the deck. If you hit it off the tee keep it tee'd low. The club hits with elevation like a 3 or 4, but gives you the distance of a 3+ or I would even say a 2 wood if there was such a thing. It is like a mini driver off the tee, and is great for 2nd shots on par 5s. This Buds for me.

Summary: The SS line of fairway woods exceeds the performance of the SZ woods in the same way that the SS driver is better (in my view) than the SZ.
Although these don't hit as high as the SZs, they still get the ball up. Better players may want to reshaft or get the strong 3 to keep the ball lower.
At address, this 3 wood looks great and the feel is fantastic (I dare say even better than my trusty Quadpro 4 wood). I really like the way you can feel the head when you swing. Sounds and feels as good if not better than the SS driver.
These can be purchased 2nd hand at reasonable prices.
