Goldwin AVDP XL Metal Woods

Summary:
I picked up the 10 deg. driver, 3 and 5 on E-Bay after purchasing a 10.5 XXL300 driver. These clubs are amazing. I have golfed for years and have never been in the fairway so much. They are CRAZY straight. To bad Goldwin are out of business because they made great clubs.

Customer Service:
Out of luck here I guess.

XL 10 degree

Summary:
After years of searching for a driver that I can trust and feel it. I can finally say I found it. It is too bad that the company went out of business. This is the most forgiving club that I have ever played.

I just got the profoce 65 stiff shaft put on it and I like it more. Now driver is my favor club. You have to get it a try. I am in the searching of a 8 degree to give me more distace and as a backup.

Goldwin ADVP XL 11* Driver

Summary:
I got this club as a gift, and it already had a True Temper Regular Steel Shaft on it. I was too lazy to take off the head, and change the shaft for my swing speed, so I shortened the shaft while I changed the grip. I hit this about 280 on average, but very inconsistent (wonder why), have hit it 290/295, so it will go long, even with the 11* loft, nice trajectory, a little high, but it's 11*, doesn't balloon, they're right. I'm quite pleased with this driver, looking for a new one lately though, just might change the shaft first and see if I get a better result, I can't deal with being this inaccurate. I was hitting my 3-iron 255 off the tee today, so I have found a backup plan, but I want to kill it with the big dawg. I'm about 6'1" and lean, so if you're pretty strong, this might be the club for you.

Goldwin XL AVDP

Summary:
THIS CLUB IS HOT!!! I was shopping at Ross last year and they had a bag full of these things. I picked up an 11 degree driver for $20.00 and shortly there after I retired my Big Bertha. Unfortunatly I caved in the club face a few months ago, however, I found another one on ebay and it is on the way. I have no idea why this great company went under. Get these rocket launchers while you still can!

XLS 10 degrees/reg. graphite

Summary:
AVDP was mentioned by a good friend of mine from the Philippines. I tried the XLS when i went to visit my sister in N.J., I loved the feel and the sound of it, (had a loud "TING" sound). My drives are longer and straighter than my older, and more expensive drivers. I can even use it off the fairway. I have Jim Furyk swing and I've had drives to 250 yrds. I'm only 5'5" so 250 yrds is huge for me.The shaft i find to be a little too whippy though, but still compensates with my swing. I loved it so much I bought the irons too, and in addition, bought my wife her own set of AVDP irons. She borrows my XLS now as she prefers it to her Callaway which is now gathering dust in storage. Take it from me, this thing works, and works very well...off the tee or off the fairway.

Customer Service:
Never knew they had one. Too bad.
