Description The strength and hardness of the maraging steel insert enables KZG to manufacture these woods with the thinnest unsupported face insert on the market. The result is a huge sweet spot and greater ball ...
Summary: I discovered KZG through my local dealer and my new RBT 360 driver. I picked up this 3 wood off of Ebay for $30 and it's nice off the tee and good off the deck when I can hit it correctly. It's definitely a strong 3 wood and the head is very small. It's actually about the same size as my Adams Tight Lies utility 16d wood. It has a hot face and I can drive the ball on average 10-25 yards shorter than my driver. If you have a consistent swing and you’re not a beginner, this could work for you. I have the stock grip and shaft and it works fine with me but I have a tighter grip.

Summary: I read some of the fantastic reviews about this strong 3 wood and am a bit disappointed, I was just expecting better distance. First off, the stock grip is a sham, i nearly hit another golfer in the head because the bloody thing kept sliding out of my grip (i have never had this problem with any other 3 woods). Also, the shaft is simply adequate, not as good as I had hoped. The head is abit small, yes that is true and it is a strong 3 wood, but with that said, the distance is truly lacking when compared with what I had hoped for.
Although I am a weak player, it should be noted that for most players something like a ram 420 3 wood might be better, a 3 wood with a much bigger head but that only has 4 or 5 yards less distance. I might warm up to this after using it a lot longer but I just am not feeling it thus far..
You can find them on ebay now for less then 45$ including shipping so it is a pretty good value if you really need a strong 3 wood!

Summary: This is a wonderful club. It has a standard KZG shaft with a flex between reg and firm. It is long off the tee and easy to hit off the fairway or out of light rough. It feels so solid and has a great sound. I tend to draw the ball off the tee and hit it staight off the deck. It allowed me to reach an uphill par 5 in 2 today. I highly recommend it.
