Model Reviewed:
Mizuno MX700 3-Wood 15 Degree, Regular Exsar HS4

Summary:
This 3-wood took me some time to get used to. The face was longer from left to right than what I'm used to. This was to promote greater forgiveness during off center hits, and in hindsight it probably worked.
The face was also shallow so not that easy to hit from the rough.

Mizuno offer this as a genuine alternative to a driver off the tee - I don't agree because it wasn't that long. Titleist 904F was way ahead in terms of distance!

When caught flush, a nice penetrating flight with a slight draw would be the outcome. I probably hit my best ever golf shot with this club - Long par 5 in a matchplay event at a course that I hadn't played before. Ball was slightly above my feet so aimed to the left of the target and swung as hard as I could - draw into the green to within 10 feet!! Obviously, I missed the eagle putt!!!

If I had got on well with the matching driver and hybrid I would have kept this club, but I didn't so off it went as a three club set
