Shoots in the 90s Model Reviewed: G2 5 wood Summary: Bought it used with a stiff graphite. This club is so forgiving. I hit a high draw, and the ball stops like an iron on the greens. I like the heavy weight to cut thru rough and launch moonshots ,although I have always hit every club high this one doesn't balloon like most of the newer FW I've hit. I've used my FW around the greens for 20 years and this one works better than any others.

Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: G2 3WOOD Summary: i LOVED this club at first, it was one of those clubs that you can hit really far your first time out with it. But after a few rounds i started noticing that when it hit the ground around the greens it would just stop, even if i hit a draw. It had to much spin for me. When i adress the ball the club face is hard to keep sqaure, it almost wants to fall open. It looks good, with the half moon thingy. But i found it hard to line up. Similar Products Used: GO WITH THE TAYLORMADE V STEEL IT IS SO MUCH BETTER

Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: G2 14º 3 Wood Summary: If you are looking for a higher-launching, easy to hit FW wood, these may be just the ticket. I've had mine for about 5 months now. I've never been able to hit a 3 wood so high and accurate. The claims that you can't mis-hit it are a little over-the-top of course, but it is very user-friendly. I got mine with the Prolaunch 75s shaft, and it launches nice and high with minimal spin. I took advantage of Ping's custom fitting options and ordered it with the specialty shaft, green dot 2º upright lie angle (which puts it at about the same lie angle as other manufacturers by the way. The G2's lie angles are a little flat.) Ordered D2 swingweight, as standard was D0, which felt a little light when I demo'd the TFC shafted version. Took about 2 weeks to arrive from Ping WRX. Customer Service: Ping is pretty good to deal with. I knew what I wanted for specs, and they verified if what I wanted was possible. They were friendly and helpful. Similar Products Used: Also playing a Titleist 904F 15º right now, which is excellent as well.
