This is BY FAR the best fairway wood I have ever hit. Straight and LONGGGG. I've have long been a Taylormade guy playing R7tp before jumping to the R9tp. Although at the last Ping Demo Day at my local club i tried the G15 and I15, ended up walking away with a Ping I15 3wd, 5wd and Hybrid. Very workable and enjoyable clubs for the lower handicapers!

I tested 4 woods: Titliest F3, TM Burner, TM R9 and the i15. The F3 and Burner didn't have the feel that I was after and actually found those a little harder to hit than the R9 and i15. The R9 was the easiest to hit out of the bunch, but I ended up with the i15 because it felt the best. It's flight path is very penetrating. Distance-wise, I would say is just above average. club is workable and the smaller head makes it reasonable to hit out of light to med roughs.
