I own the 5 and 7w, the latter paired with the Graffaloy Prolauch Red Shaft, both stiff flex. All I can say is, WOW. Possibly the easiest to hit fairway woods out there, period. The 7W in particular is insane with that shaft- I can now hit a 200 yard shot dead straight (or worked) with a medium ball flight on command. Ditching the 3 iron was the best decision I ever made.

Summary: I loved my G10 driver, but I did not like the G10 woods. The wood feels head heavy and it doesn't feel balanced in my hands. Like a flat metal pancake at the end of a pole. I also found the face too shallow. I've owned all of Ping's drivers since the G5, and loved them all. I've had all the Ping woods since the G2, and I haven't had any luck with any of the woods. They just feel heavy and clumsy throughout the swing. I'm going to take a leap of faith and try the G15s. Hopefully they'll work out.
Customer Service: Ping is very good but slow as of late.
Similar Products Used: 30+ models bought and sold in the past 4 years. I've settled on a mix of the R9s and Hibore. The 909f2 is also very good.

Summary: Golf equipment is my (obsessed) hobby, and although I prefer HiBore woods simply because of their unique design, in my humble opinion, the G10 woods are right there with the best woods ever made - and the best looking. Many men AND women tour players play this driver. Even my brother, a 10 handi who struggles with the driver, NAILS this thing and keeps it in the fairway almost every time. He loves the internal weight pad at the bottom of the head combined with the slight leading edge in the driver. I agree - it exudes ultra-confidence and delivers sheer POWER. I love the half-moon alignment aid on the crown. It looks cool too. The standard Ping TFC 129 shaft is OUTSTANDING for these woods. Somehow it has a perfect balance of enough flexibility yet enough stiffness in the tip for accuracy AND distance. And with many people, like myself, who struggle with hitting a 3 wood off the deck, I applaud Ping for 1. putting the same length shaft (43 inches) in the 4 wood as they put in the 3 wood, and 2. making a 3 wood with a loft of 15.5. I read somewhere, and agree, that the G10 fairway woods somehow respond best by "dropping the head" on the ball. The thin but long heel to toe faced 4 wood is really fun to hit after a little practice. I implore any of my fellow golf lovers in the market for new woods to check out the G10s. They've dropped a little in price now that the G15/i15 line has been released, but Ping only dropped the price by $50 for the driver - in my opinion because selling the award-winning G10 driver for under $250 is simply a "no-can-do."

Summary: Went to a demo day over one year ago and found that every driver that I hit really well had a Grafalloy Prolaunch Red shaft and the best was the G10 9* Driver. I had been using a 14.5* hybrid in place of a 3 wood as I could not find one that worked for me and after hitting the G10 the hybrid went on permanent vacation.
With the Prolaunch Red shaft it launches fairly low, as it should, which makes it a perfect substitute for my driver on those windy days. Consistently getting 245yards straight with the occasional draw is never a bad thing.
