Model Reviewed: Sonartec NP99 17º Aldila NV65R
Summary: I´m a 11 hcp and I don´t change clubs frequently, except for the fairway woods. I´ve own a Callaway Squarewood 15º 3 wood, pretty straight off the tee but useless off the fairway and a Titleist 906F4 18.5º that tends to balloon and makes only a little more distance that my 21º Titleist hybrid. I always have been partial to the Sonartec brand and I found at the Golfbidder website a NP99 17º 4W with stock Aldila NV65R shaft in pristine condition, a club I tested a long time ago from a pro and that left me highly impressed. I also have read rave reviews from Terry, The Wedge Guy and Eidolon Wedges president. Please read his article "Have you forgotten the 4-wood?" at Oobgolf.com site.
So I bought it cheap and ditched the 3W & 5W. First, it´s a beauty at adress position. Perfect sized head in midnigth blue, shaft in blue, GolfPride Dual grip and a premium headcover. Second, it´s the only one fairway wood I´ve found that is at the same time easy to hit straight, left, right, high and low, cuts... everything. I didn´t expect that from a Sonartec, they are very demanding clubs. Third, I can baby it to 5W range or go for it to 3W range. Usually that results in push or pulls, not with this. I didn´t find a situation on the course where I missed the 3W length or the 5W hight. It´s a perfect ballflight. And now I have a spot in my bag to my much-adored gap wedge. Believe me, few of the actual brands provide fairway woods with this quality level, despite the new technology shafts that can make a difference. Take one cheap while you can.

Summary: I just bought this club today and I have to say its the best wood i've ever used! I just came back from the range and i could conistently hit 160 yards straight and I'm 12. It's extremely easy to hit and has incredible accuracy. I would reccommend this to anyone looking for a 5 wood

Summary: This a 2 to 3 year old model. I got a great deal on a brand new one ($99). This has the Hst Penley Stiff 77grams shaft. I absolutely love it. The feel is great and the contact feedback is phenomenal. It sets up perfect and is a as long as my old 3 wood. Must buy if you can still find it.
Customer Service: Very responsive and helpful.

Model Reviewed: NP-99 14* Aldila 65S
Summary: With the right shaft this club is a LONG 3 wood, about 10 yards behind the driver (Ping G2 with the same shaft). Excellent off the fairway but you've to tee it low, if you tee it up all, I've resorted to knocking a tee up from the ground with this club. Penetrating ball flight and easy to shape shots with.
Customer Service: Club originally came with an Aldila 75R/S shaft fitted, but re-shafted by Sonartec UK, with a Aldila 65S. Superb service.

Summary: I've been playing this club for 6 months, it's long & solid. Great trajectory & sets up square off the deck. I just bought a 7 wood to replace my Vsteel. Prices are coming down.
Customer Service: None needed.
