Zero Tolerance Scorcher Fairway

Description
From ZT Golf: A great looking low profile fairway wood, ZT's new Scorcher Fairway features a low center of gravity to promote a higher ball flight, a very solid feel and a confidence inspiring look at address.

ZT Scorcher

Summary:
I was having trouble finding a 3wood to play from the tee and fairway. Thought I'd give these new woods a shot. Finish is very top notch, matches my Maxima 360 with the deep blue finish. Shaft is a TT DGS300. Took it to the range for a test and first hit was very impressive. Solid contact puts a high trajectory but not too high. Will allow me to get to some par 5s in two. Have to get used to the hollow sound. Currently have a ZT fairway master and could not get that in the air. Could have been the 13deg loft. This is a very good performer for a 20hcp.

Summary:
Power65 S Flex graphite shaft. Beautiful to look at, easy to set up and to swing. They almost swing themselves and have a trajectory that's pleasing to my eye. Still getting used to them; flying greens because I'm hitting them longer than I'm accustomed to.

Customer Service:
Great service from Dave Yoshioka, HI dealer.

Scorcher 3 wood

Summary:
Actually this review is for the Scorcher, but it was hit by a friend in his late 70's. This gentleman usually can get 150 yards off the tee and maybe 130 off the deck. He doesn't turn much or swing hard, but he's consistent and straight. He absolutely KILLED this club, was getting 175-185 off the deck with his usual easy swing. Didn't matter if it was in the fairway or the rough. We started calling him "Scorcher" for his prowess with this club! A great looking club as well - sort of a cross between a Mizuno forged and an Adams Tight Lies. The club is advertised as one to help people who have trouble hitting fairway woods. It delivers big tme as promised!!

ZT Scorcher

Summary:
Got one of these about a month ago from ZT. Haven't heard too much about them, as it seems that everyone here usually buys the Fairway Master. I decided to take a chance on this club, which is a 15 degree 3 wood, and I have to say that I am glad that I did.

First of all, it looks good (nice looking at address). It has a ZT Power 65 regular shaft and the head reminds me of the Ram Concept Woods. Easy to swing and easy to hit, although I wasn't too impressed when I took it to the range. On the course, that opinion changed. This thing was long and straight! Easily 210-225 yards every time off the tee, and 200 from good lies. Works well out of the rough too, althought I ballooned a couple of shots, but I think that is because my swing is not quite there yet (20 handicapper).

In short, a very nice club that fits my game. I would recommend it hightly.

Customer Service:
Great customer service. As good as any in the industry, probably better.

ZT Scorcher 15*

Summary:
A slick looking low profile fairway wood. As with most of ZT's current line, the deep blue maraging head and the Power 65 shaft make a striking combo.

Although I am not a fan of low profile woods, I had no problem hitting the Scorcher well. This club especially shines of the fairway, going long and straight with a pleasing mid-high trajectory. Accuracy and distance were very good; feel was solid and pleasing.

I recommend it as a great value and soldi performer.

Customer Service:
As usual, John and the customer service at ZT cannot be beat.
