This course has run it's course. The fairways on the Black Course are among the worst that you will find anywhere. While the greens are very good, it does not make up for the poor fairways and lack of grooming. All of the bunkers are also generally out of sand and are never groomed by the staff. To complete the awful experience, try interfacing with the miserable old hack in the proshop who is on loan from the DMV.

I played the red course, which was in aweful shape this spring. It has been improved tremendously!! The greens are actually in very good shape, although the fairways are a mixed bag. Overall, I think it was a very good course for the $$$. Customer Service:
Easy in, easy out. It's not a hi-profile course, but rather low-key and easy to enjoy. Similar Courses Played:
Cheap beer and food.
