| | Reviewed by: Grinder, Shoots in the 80s Summary: Played this course as a member of the inner Men's club regularly several years ago when I lived in CT. Return every year to play in their annual member/guest. Course was in the best condition I've ever seen. Current ownership have made alot of improvements stretching holes. Course from the blues plays significantly longer than yardage on the card. Fabulous practice facilities.
The stretch in distance begs for a review of the rating and slope of the course. Several drinking water stations on the course should be relocated to provide more consistent intervals.
Review below is erroneous re designer as former owners (two brothers) designed and oversaw construction of course.
If I was back living back in the area, I would not hesitate to rejoin and play this course on a regular basis.
Well worth the money. Customer Service: Ladies at the grill are great. Similar Courses Played: Pro Shop is well stocked.

| | Reviewed by: ASM, Shoots in the 80s Summary: This is a great course. Good value, excellent conditions, challenging, plenty of variety, and some of best practice facilities around. Customer Service: Great people, very helpful. Similar Courses Played: There is a large putting green, a second chipping green with 3 bunkers, and an area to hit 50 yard shots into the green from. The driving range is ok. The hitting area is very elevated, and usually plays into the wind, so it's tough to gage distances. Great view of 10 and 18 from the clubhouse.

| | Reviewed by: Charles Jones, Shoot in the 80s, from Hartford Summary: This is the best course in CT. It's a Trent Jones design. water on almost every hole and every hole is different. Nice layout. They have a clock on every hole which is confusing if you've never seen one. if you start at 12:20 every hole you tee off should say 12:20.
I've played a lot and this one is the best. Similar Courses Played: None

| | Reviewed by: Randy Rhoads, Shoot in the 80s, from Bristol, CT Summary: A very good public course. The layout is nice... The front nine has 3 par 3's and is a par 35, the back is a par 37 with water coming into play on several holes. This isnt a very long course, but its generally in good condition year round (for that amount of play it getsds) The greens tend to be true, but are not as fast as they should be. One of the nicer public courses in the Greater Hartford area. Customer Service: I guess this isnt a good course to play if your not playing early in the morning. The course gets FAR TOO MUCH lay. Similar Courses Played: Driving range is very good, and there are two putting greens plus a green with sand bunkers to practice on. Head professioal is a good teacher.
