Brooklawn aka "the lawn" has been the only track in ct to have hosted the US Womens open AND the US Senior Open.
Those events didn't have to go to brooklawn....they could have gone to Stanwich, Weeburn, Waterbury, New Haven..etc.
The fact that they both went to the lawn says quite enough about the place.
Tillinghast's best course in ct by far. Great small, sloping greens that are fast...the rooster river wandering thru holes 7,8,9 are gorgeous. Don't be above the pin on number 8
