Summary: Great irons. I spent a lot of time last winter researching different irons to improve my game. I was looking for a smaller, "classy" looking iron with minimal offset. I found the right set. Can I claim a great amount of improvement in my game.... no, I don't spend enough time at it. If you're the average weekend golfer who needs an accurate club that really doesn't give up a great amount, if any, distance then this is the right set. I've always loved playing irons and this is the final set. I now LOVE Hogan clubs, bought my 7 year old the matching Jr. set. Been playing these for 5 months, no trouble. Hopefully Calloway will start pushing Hogans to the public, they're sitting on a goldmine. Bottomline, I have faith in my irons. Always loved hitting a 3 iron and I can make it go.... far. Bought the sand wedge seperately, but I need the gap wedge to rep[lace my Ping M/B 52 wedge to make the set complete. If you only purchase 1 extra club, get the gap wedge before the sand wedge. Did I mention the lovely chrome finish.... wow. If you are not completely wrapped up in names but demand the best in the range between "players" irons and shovels, this is the right one.

Summary: Went from the Callway X-12 to these Irons. Couldn't pass up the deal of $120 nearly new in condition. Was looking for an iron that was as easy to hit as the X12's but better looking at address. FOUND IT! Very Easy to hit, very ACCURATE!, a tad shorter, but the Ball bites HARD on the green. But groves do chew through a Pro-V in one round. Not as much a game improvement iron, but a "best of both worlds" iron. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Customer Service: Excellent! They live up to the reputation of Ben Hogan.

Summary: Very forgiving with a large sweet spot. Has a "feel" when you hit it well. Not the longers irons I've owned but what I loose in distance can't compare to the accuracy. Highly recommended for the weekend golfer but has help lower my handicap 10 strokes in 3 years.

Summary: Great clubs! Sold my BH-5 irons to get the CFTs. They are easy to hit. Some have suggested they are a little heavy. I found them not be heavy at all. But you do feel the clubhead on the end of the shaft which I like, yet they swing effortlessly for me. They are forgiving but will let you know when you don't hit it square. Even miss-hits go pretty far and straight. The grooves are aggresseive and they produce lots of spin. I would recommend these clubs for low to mid-handicappers who want some forgiveness but still require some skill to hit.
Customer Service: Purchased on-line. These clubs were a demo set at Edwin Watts.

Summary: Good set of irons look nice at address and are fairl easy to hit. go very high and produce alot of spin not very easy to work the ball both ways and hard to keep the trajectoy down. the 8 iron 9 and pitch are very good and i hit them on the button most times the only downer is they rip balls 2 shreds from the spin they produce gd irons and i gt them for a good price 150 quid.
