Mixed bag. I can't hit them at all. My brother, who never picked up a club in his life, nails them.
They are just not for me. I ruined all of last season with these and some of this one.
Moving to Wilson di7.

Purchased the 3-PW spring 2007 to replace a set of old Ping Eye 2. Played for 3 years on ping and shot 110-120 mostly because of short game skills. Decided to buy a "super game improvement" iron to improve game. Test drove Callaway Big Berthas,Taylor Made R7 draws, Cleveland Launchers. These clubs were all great but pricey! I hit the Adams 6 iron Hybrid and could hit 180yds at the range and straight. Awesome. The reason why I chose to go with Adams and the set was $300-$400 cheaper. Played with the set for a year and now I shoot low 100's high 90's. Improved game. Love the 7 iron on down but do not like the hybrids like I did when I first hit them. The 3 & 4 stay in the bag and I use a 7 wood instead. I hit the 5 the most and the 6 is unreliable. If you get this Set get the 4-SW. I am now switching to Taylor Made R7 draw set to get rid of Hybrids. I'll let you know how those work out after I play them a while.

THUMBS DOWN..Over rated, over hyped clubs. Impossible to hit those hybrids. Shafts are way too long. The 3 and 4 hybrids spent most of the time in my bag. Basically, played with only 50% of the set. I unloaded them for Callaway Big Bertha clones and I am very happy now. These Adams killed 2 seasons for me.

I decided to go with these clubs and picked them up on ebay for $250.I usually shoot right at 100. The clubs hit very long, have a great sweet spot, and look good. They met my expectations. Things to think about: I am one hair short of 5'10 and they feel a little long. The three hybrid is over an inch longer than a Wilson fireball. I would have them sized. I also had a change of heart on the 5 and 6. I would probably rather the plain A2's with a regular 5 and 6 instead of hybrid, like recommended in golf digest 2007 hot list. They just don't feel as good off the ground. Overall though, great clubs.

These are the oversized graphite shafted reg flex set. Switched to these from Magregor 565s with reg flex steel shafts. Immediately began seeing big improvement in the longer irons - both in accuracy and distance. Liked them so much I added the 50 degree gap wedge and dropped a 5 wood from my bag. These retail new for $599 but I paid much less on ebay.

Customer Service

Excellent - if somewhat cumbersome. I thought I had lost my 7 iron playing a strange course. When I called Adams they said I had to go through the pro at my club to order. Seems like an extra layer to go through to me. Later found the lost club. Anyone need a 7 iron?

I used some of the original Adams Tight Lies years ago. I liked the A2s so much I purchased a similar set for my wife.
