Ben Hogan FTX

Summary:
I am a boggy golfer and probably would benefit from more of a game improvement iron. These however, are teaching me good habits. Miss hits can sting and I find that I seem to hit them on the toe with some frequency. You can definately tell how and where on the club face you hit the ball. On the positive side, I have eagled the hardest par 4 on our course holeing out from 175 yards and they are the prettiest clubs you will ever own.

Summary:
I have had these clubs for about a month now. Coming from Big Bertha 04 irons, these were shocking at first. But after I got used to the thin top line and the smaller head, my scores went down. These irons force you to be precise. Mis hits sting but the still travel pretty well for a player's club. The feel on a solid shot is unbelievable, it's like hitting a marshmallow. The long irons are pretty easy to hit but I am considering a sonartec md 3 hybrid just for the versatility. Overall this is a fantastic set of irons.

At address these irons provide all of the confidence anyone needs. from long to short just aim and watch it go!!! ball flight is perfect. the apex #4 shafts provide excellent feel. I never knew an iron could be this good... if you can get a chance to hit this irons by all means do so. especially if you enjoy the feel of forged.
