Model Reviewed: Ben Hogan 1966 PC5 Forged Irons

I had to force myself in using blades in order to swing properly and to have a consistent swing, what an experience!!! Never going back to game improvement irons. Ben Hogan's pc5 irons were my very first forged irons, easy to hit due to its shorter shaft lenght, about 1/2 an inch less. Feedback are very good, toe and heel hit are not rewarded, but center hits goes straight like a lazer, very workable clubs and gives lots of confidence when laid behind the ball. Ball goes where you want, it's like a guided-lazer. Transitions from 2 iron to PW (Equalizer) are consistent. These clubs are comparable with newer version of Ben Hogans, specially the 2007 apex blades. My PC5's are very beautiful, presentable and a pleasure just to look at. PC5 irons are close to impossible to find, very rare. Durable irons, all these years, my PC5's are in great condition. If you have the opportunity, do yourself a favor and buy them, you will not be sorry.
