Description The CG Gold is an all-ability iron perfect for the player who wants to maximize forgiveness while still maintaining a solid feel in a traditional head design. High and low handicappers alike are drawn...
Summary: I've bought the Cleveland CG7 set which replaces the CG Gold. Set is 4-PW. These irons are fantastic, I really love them. They feel gear when hitting the ball and the forgiveness factor is great. I can work the ball with draws and punch shots.
I tried other irons before eg Taylormade Burner and R7, King Cobra SZ and Yonex VMX. The CG7 was miles better than any. The feel and forgiveness. At address the club inpires confidence.

Summary: bought these clubs at the start of the season, the combo set. and it feels great being able to hit a consistent 3 or 4 iron.. great clubs for the price paid. even on mis-hits the gelback absorbs the vibrations amazingly.
Customer Service: haven't needed.

Summary: I went out on a whim one day after reading some reviews and purchased these clubs brand new for only $400 (3-PW). Before I bought these, I played with a used set of Ping Zing 2's (black dot), and they were alright for a while, but I found that the sole of the club was far too big and was causing me problems on the hard ground on some of my local courses. These clubs (the clevelands) are amazing, it feels so sweet when you make crisp contact. I've been hitting the ball straighter ever since I purchased them. Also, I've had far fewer miss-hits [fat and thin shots]. the best thing is that I slowed my swing down because they came with regular flex shafts, and I still hit the ball farther than I did with the Pings. However, with the technological advances, that is kind of comparing apples to oranges. The bottom line is these clubs are great; they are workable (fade, draw, or just hit it sraight), they are nice looking, and they are now a lot cheaper since the newer ones have come out. Buy these clubs or the newer ones [the newer ones come with a great deal (if you buy them before 12/31/09, you can trade them in when Cleveland releases the next model, and you get that set free no strings attatched!!)
Summary: I've have played with the CG Gold for 3 month now and i played with several iron sets. These are just fantastic. They are a bit hard to learn to play with but when you get used to them they are hust amazing. I went from a Hcp. 42 to 28 in just 3 weeks. If you are a hard hitter like me, they are a must.
